Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit

"O clap your hands, all you people! Shout to God with the voice of triumph and songs of joy! For the Lord Most High excited terror, awe and dread; He is a great King over all the earth. He subdued peoples under us, and nations under our feet. He chose our inheritance for us, the glory and pride of Jacob, whom He loves. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!"
~ Psalm 47:1 & 2 ~ Amplified Version
On Sunday as we joined in praise with the singers; singing unto God of how glorious and great He is, I kept getting the following words in my spirit. I had to write it down during this time. I know the words written were from the Lord:
Received on Sunday, May 16, 2009:
"Applaud, applaud for ME (God) !
Let your applause be on your lips
as your voice echoes back to ME how great and awesome I Am.
Applaud for me with your life.
Let your life clap in joy over ME, your Mighty Deliverer!
I Am the Most Famous One!
You have applauded the vessel that I have created
and not ME the Maker of the vessel.
Applaud Me! Applaud Me!"
I was beyond 'wowed' to hear these words and read these words. He wants us to remind ourselves of His awesomeness. I know why in a deeper and greater level. Why? For when we remind ourselves of His greatness, and we applaud to Whom it is due; the challenges, tribulations and trials that come our way do not stand a chance when we get a revelation, a knowing of Who our God is!
I want to be like David as he fought the giant, Goliath. It wasn't by his great ability, stature or strength that killed Goliath. It was David knowing without a doubt of who His God was! He had so much confidence in the One he served and worshipped that the giant didn't have a chance. David's faith in His God was so great that He knew His 'Daddy' could destroy them all. I want that knowing, I must have that knowing O God!
Who wants that kind of knowing of who their God is? I do! We have to remember that it is not our ability, knowledge, book smarts, street smarts or experiences that will make us overcomers...it is about knowing the One who Overcame it all for us, the One and Only God revealed by Jesus Christ who is revealed through our lives IF we have accepted Him as our Savior and Lord who are led by the Holy Spirit.
I don't want to be led by 'a' spirit, I want to be led by THE Holy Spirit; the Spirit of God!
I want to be led, I want to follow and I want to do what I am called to do for His glory. I want to APPLAUD HIM with my life, moment by moment. I want it to become like a heartbeat in my life; in which I can not live without applauding Him.
