Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
By: Teresa Criswell

"...for God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us...But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us."
~ Romana 5:5,8 ~ (Amplified Version)

My husband brought back to my memory yesterday as we were talking about the extraordinary love of Christ upon the adulterous woman. He reminded me of the gentleman that came to our church on Easter Sunday. He had made a statement that really allowed us to see God revealed by Jesus Christ how He not only possesses love; but HE IS LOVE! The guest speaker who came to our church said the following (paraphrased):

"The three most difficult things to do in life, are not of physical difficulty. Like lifting a car, running for hundreds and thousands of miles or even climbing Mount Everest.

Starting with the third most difficult thing to do in the world is loving those that have hurt you and even caused great pain and heartache.

The second most difficult thing to do in the world is accepting and loving someone whom most have rejected and even hated.

The number one most difficult thing to do in the world is loving someone that does not love you in return and even hates you."

As I think on this amazing love, again I am reminded of the One who has done both...Jesus the Son of God. It brings me to realize that God does not ask us to do anything that He hasn't already done, by His Spirit. We do not possess this love by our own power or our own might, it's only by the Spirit of God.

May we overwhelm them by His love.
