Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written by: Teresa Criswell

"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure."
~ Philippians 2:5-13 NKJV~

Jesus, as I close my eyes, I imagine the desperate people as they stretched forth their hands to touch You. I ponder the moments in which the overwhelming crowds gathered to see You. The crowds witnessed Your display of the marvellous works of God. I imagine the children gathering around You, as they knew with great confidence that Your outstretched arms were the eternal description of acceptance.

I declare with great thanksgiving of Your acceptance of me and for allowing me to accept You as my Lord. Thank You for rescuing me as I call You my Savior. I shake my head in wondrous adoration that You one day will show forth Your Glorious Might. Your Glorious Might will shake the foundations of the earth. Your Glorious Might will shake the very foundations of the ones who shook their fists at you with their lives as to say, there is no need for You. Yet in that prideful stance we will all bow our knees to You! The King of kings and will confess with our tongues that You are Lord of lords!

Lord, I thank You that You are the One I serve; with great fear and trembling I run to Your powerful yet loving embrace. Thank You Jesus for reconciling and redeeming back such a beautiful relationship with the Father God by the power of The Holy Spirit. Your resurrection power from death is that same power that causes me to be a new creation in You! All I had to do was say, "Yes" to Your gift! You have never forced Your gift of Salvation, You offer with great powerful love and I was desperate enough to receive it! I knew my need to be rescued; but looking back with great thankfulness; I see even more so how desperately I needed to be rescued! Thank You! Wow to You King of kings! Rescuer of rescuers! Hallelujah! You are Holy!
