January 29, 2010 thru February 1, 2010, "In Awe of You God!"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Stevens Criswell "The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the people see His glory." ~ Psalm 97:6 ~ Watching the trees sway and move in the wind reminds me of a beautiful dance. The dance revealing the awe of Your Glory. Delighting in You, their Creator as they dance in unison, yet a dance all their own. Some sway to and fro, others waving their limbs in excitement of Who You are. The timing of their dance is so beautiful and so humbling. There are many cultures who worship Your creation yet they do not consider that creation only reveals Your glory. Creation is NOT Your glory. They only reveal a glimpse of Who You are. Wow! A glimpse, yet on the unjust scales of our thoughts, it seems much more than a glimpse, yet compared to YOU THE Uncontainable, Indescribable God, it is truly only a 'speck of dust' glimpse in who You are! Yet with Your glorious beauty and honor they reveal

January 28, 2010, "Preparation In The Midst of The 'Rain'"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;" ~ Ephesians 6:10-18 (Excerpt from Ephesians 6:15) ~ I greatly appreciate your patience as 'Triumphant Victorious Reminders' has not been efficiently going out as planned. I greatly apologize for this; I am sitting at my local library as my fingers dance upon the foreign keyboard. The backspaces and edits are truly humorous. The past couple days have truly been an adventurous ride. The adventure is based on that false sense of security in technology. Realizing and being reminded yet again who our only Security truly is...The Almighty God! You may ask, what did the adventurous ride entail? Well, let's just say the dependency on my computer. Does anyone know what I mean? Truly, everything was great, I powered Cody's computer off, ran some errands, came home to write my devotional to find that my computer

January 26, 2010, "Patience"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering (patience) , kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control..." ~ Galatians 5:22-23 ~ "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works," ~ Hebrews 10:23 & 24 ~ An adorable little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes greatly frustrated, whined, "Teacher! My mouse isn't working!" I responded in a soft voice, "OK sweetie. In order for your mouse to work you must move it around." A cute little boy who looked as though he just got out of bed, extended his arm to the ceiling, as his forehead formed a frown. He was frustrated as he had forgotten which program to click on. He shouted, "Teacher! I don't remember!" Before I could answer another little girl

January 25, 2010, "Meditate On What's True"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written by today's Contributing Writer: Celina Moser Baginski Today's devotional is beautifully written by my friend and sister in the Lord, Celina. She has written a beautiful reminder of what our meditations must be based on. Enjoy and be encouraged today! "Finally, br ethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy; meditate on these things." ~ Philippians 4:8 ~ "Meditate On What's True" Today, I want you to focus on the first part of this scripture "...whatever things are true...; meditate on these things" and how worry prevents us from doing what this scripture has called us to do. God wants your mind to be at peace, yet for so many of us, worrying is almost second nature. How can you have the

January 23 & 24, 2010, "God is Faithful"

Image
Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "If we are faithless , He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself." ~ II Timothy 2:13 ~ I am so humbled as I look back. It is not regret of my past that leads me to this humbleness, it is the Awesomeness of God that has led me to repentance NOT regret. I shake my head in awe as the recollection of self-inflicted pain, lies, manipulation, and gossip were what people associated me with. As I reminisce of those times; I am not feeling condemned, yet I am in awe of God's Majestic Love over my life in spite of who I was. I am in awe of God's great mercy over my life. I am truly overwhelmed that He saw past the wretchedness and by Faith, because HE is FAITH spoke forth and knew what He meant for me to become in Him and with Him through Jesus Christ. I look upon this girl I once was. I don't see her as me, but as another person, longing to embrace her, then taking a hold of her

January 22, 2010, "Would You have Still Praised Me?"

Image
Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "Why are you cast down, O my soul (mind) ? And why are you disquieted within me ? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God." ~ Psalm 42:5, 11 & 43:5 NKJV~ I am reminded of the day a few years back when I was looking for a front row parking space . I remember selfishly praying for 'parking favor' when suddenly a front parking spot became available. Of course, I was happy that I wouldn't have to walk as far and in doing so I said, "Praise God for front row parking favor". As soon as I spoke that out, I remember hearing in my spirit, "What if the front row parking space was unavailable would you have still praised Me?" I remember being shocked with that question. Most of us know that when God asks us a question, it's not that He doesn't know the answer; it's that most likely we aren't doing what is

January 19, 2010, "The Hope of Glory"

Image
Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Stevens Criswell "To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory ." ~ Colossians 1:27 ~ The mystery? Christ in you, the hope of glory. Wow! It was an amazing weekend. My daughter and I attended a conference hosted by our church, ' Worship Life ' and Patsy Cameneti (Our Pastor's sister) was the vessel God utilized so powerfully this weekend. I had and continue to have a great heart awakening on the inside of me. My desire to want more of His promises and what could be had of Him was cutting me like a knife...truly destroying my desires. The simplicity of truth revealed that I must be filled up constantly by our God. Not what we think of being 'filled up' as. You know that ever burning question of, "What's in it for me? What can I gain from it?" It's no

Update on Lily Parker 'LP'

Image
Our family is beyond grateful to God for His beautiful power in the midst of this trial. We are also so grateful for the many of you who have prayed with great supplication on Lily's behalf. Here is an update of God's healing manifesting on Lily's body... Sweet lily could walk today! She wasn't able to walk with out a lot of pain until this morning... We were nervous it was a pinched nerve from the lumbar puncture but she walked two loops around the halls this morning! She actually can't walk again at the moment, but they think it's just inflamed so they will give her inflammatory medicines but thank the Lord it's not her nerve. The cultures came back negative today for Bacterial Meningitis. Thank you sweet Jesus. Thanks for your prayers on Lily's behalf. We love you guys! Here's a pic of 'LP' walking the halls... Here is another update from my sweet, funny sister: Hello all... Some have asked about her walking... Well we're home now

Prayer Request...Update!

Image
The host of prayers going forth as beautiful banners wave about, reaching to The Throne of God. My precious sister and her husband David are wonderful parents to two beautiful little girls. I am writing this post on behalf of the whole family, however specifically in regards to their oldest daughter, Lily Parker. To think upon the face of Lily is so breathtaking. Her beautiful olive skin tone, bright brown eyes that flutter so beautifully as they are framed with those long dark lashes. She is shy yet tenacious, bold in the Lord, and a passionate lover of Jesus as she desires that every Disney princess knows who Jesus is. Lily is 3 years old, soon to turn 4 in February. She is truly a lover of God's righteousness and justice as these are the foundations of His Indescribable Throne (Psalm 89:14). Today, we must fight with faith that is from God in prayer on behalf of Lily who knows her Loving yet Mighty God. Thank you for praying and agreeing with the Word of God in regards to

"Father's Love Letter"

Our beautiful reminder of our Father God's Love for each of us! O how He loves you and me.

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Stevens Criswell Please welcome my dear friend and sister in Christ, Celina Moser Baginski as a contributing writer to 'Triumphant Victorious Reminders'. Be blessed as she has written what was revealed to her so beautifully. The devotion she has been led to write is titled, "Bless Your Life Today!” Written By: Celina Moser Baginski January 14 , 2010 "Pressed on every side; yet not crushed! Perplexed but not in despair! Persecuted but not forsaken! Struck down but not destroyed!" ~ II Corinthians 4:8-9 ~ "Life and death are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit." ~ Proverbs 18:21 ~ Everywhere we turn , we hear of people's struggles due to natural disasters and people hurting and betraying each other, but these stories depict outside influences. In reality the most devast

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen." ~ Ephesians 3:20-21 ~ We met in the seventh grade; the fall of 1987. She was a tall, beautiful girl who ended up being a classmate of mine. We became friends; actually she was more like the 'mother hen' as she was mature, beyond her years. I remember still 'til this day how she encouraged me; the immature, awkward, silly girl. Soon after our friendship bloomed, she ended up leaving our school in 1988 as we did not see each other again until much later; after graduating high school. Our friendship started right where it left off in the winter of 1994. I just moved from Texas to Kansas. We spent so much time together. We had our giggles, and cries. We

January 11, 2010, "God's Goodness"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Poetry Written By: Teresa Criswell "I will praise You , O LORD , with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works." ~ Psalm 9:1 ~ "Or do you despise the riches of His goodness , forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?" ~ Romans 2:4 ~ "Your Goodness Leads Me" Love Your Daughter, Teresa I praise You O Lord! Your Goodness is more than words can describe. No eloquence of the mouth could come close to Your Excellent Greatness! Your goodness is what continually leads me to repentance. In repentance You have lovingly taken my hand as I express my trust in You. You turned me from the old ways and You continue to lead me on Your path of Righteousness. O Lord Your goodness leads me. I pray O Lord that I follow your merciful leading. I pray that I follow, listen and act upon Your loving Voice. As You have so beautifully shown me Life.

January 9, 2009, "The Heaven's Declarations"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Stevens Criswell "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows and proclaims His handiwork. Day after day pours forth speech, and night after night shows forth knowledge. There is no speech nor spoken word [from the stars]; their voice is not heard. Yet their voice [in evidence] goes out through all the earth, their sayings to the end of the world. Of the heavens has God made a tent for the sun..." ~ Psalm 19 (Excerpt from Psalm 19:1-4) Amplified Bible ~ I was turning onto our neighborhood street as we were on our way to take Tristin to school. I was swept away by the sky that was before me. Immediately it was as if the sky were reminding me of the Glory of God. The reminder led me to the skies hovering over me that once hovered over King David, Queen Esther, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the many others who came before us. The same sun that shines also shone about on our S

January 8, 2009, "The SAME Spirit of Faith"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice and supplications (. Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore will I call upon Him as long as I live. The cords and sorrows of death were around me; and the terrors of Sheol (the place of the dead) had laid hold of me; I suffered anguish and grief (trouble and sorrow). THEN called I upon the name of the Lord: O Lord, I beseech You, save my life and deliver me! Gracious is the Lord, and [rigidly] righteous; yes, our God is merciful!" ~ Psalm 116 (Excerpt from Psalm 116:1-5 Amplified Bible) And we have the same Spirit of Faith. My mind attempts to ponder this Supernatural fact. "We have the same 'Spirit of Faith'." It led me to curiosity of the simple word, 'same'. So I did my quick referencing via The Free Dictionary.com . In my quick search, I found there are several definitions, which I was familiar

Reflecting back on June 10, 2009

I urge some of us to read from a past blog entry, written on June 10, 2009. Titled, "Confessions of Our Mouth" . Tell me if it helped at all...it was a great reminder of Who I belong to and Who I must 'echo'! Thank you for taking a moment to stop by...tell me what you think, when you have a moment... Please be sure to read the post written today.. . Pressed? Perplexed?

January 7, 2009, "Pressed? Perplexed?"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding. He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]." ~ Isaiah 40:28 & 29 ~ Please if you can...shout, proclaim and declare out loud this devotional today...I know it will cause great encouragement as it did for me and continues to at this very moment. Please read this with great emphasis! "Pressed on every side; yet not crushed! Perplexed but not in despair! Persecuted but not forsaken! Struck down but not destroyed" (II Corinthians 4:8&9)! Now this is truly perspective as Paul truly trusted God. Paul had tribulation like many of us could not imagine. Shipwrecked. Beaten with brutal whips, while i

The BBC Parade of Homes (Kitchen)

An extension of the kitchen The breakfast 'nook' Kitchen Kitchen This is so much fun. Debby from Heavenly Humor has invited her friends to post pictures of our kitchens...at least for this week. She is calling it, "Parade of Homes"...It is part of her "Monday Madness" at the 'Big Butt Club'...if you think that's funny, you have gotta go to Heavenly Humor as soon as you possibly can. She is hilarious, fun and genuinely an awesome daughter of the King! Many of you already know her, however, those of you who don't...please post a comment on her blog to let her know that you heard about her from me...'Triumphant Teresa'. She has noted on her blog that next week, is another room...the bedroom. Many, if not most bloggers have not met in person; being that this is the case, Debby came up with this wonderful, fun idea to 'get to know' each other better. Have fun 'parading' through my kitchen! January 5, 2009, "Revealing the Light of The World...Jesus"

TRIUMPHANT VICTORIOUS REMINDERS Inspired by The Holy Spirit Written by: Teresa Criswell "You are the light of the world . A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden." Matthew 5:14 Retrieving my emails, I came across an email from a reader and dear friend. He sent the following email in which it provoked a convicting thought within me. Another reminder of The Amazing Jesus we must reveal, moment by moment if we say we have accepted Him as our Savior. I was heavily reminded of this powerful truth not just within the world, but also within the walls of my own husband and children. Please be blessed as you read the following story. Whether or not this is a true story, that should not be the focus...as much as it is a beautiful reminder of The Light we should so beautifully be revealing...the Light of God revealed by Jesus Christ! Jim, thank you for sending this. It blessed me with great conviction; as the 'Triumphant Victorious Reminder' was revealed in this story: &

January 4, 2010, "Persevere"

"But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life." ~ Jude 1:20-23 ~ "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." (James 1.2-4). I woke up puzzled from a dream. It's not really a 'dream' in the sense that it was something I desired with great aspirations...but as defined in the dictionary. The first definition describing it as a series of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations occurring involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. It didn't seem it would be a dream of any depth or importance until I asked the Lord if He wanted to reveal something to me...that is when the following was revealed
