Thoughts Foretelling Your Future?

Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written by: Teresa Criswell

"All the days of the desponding and afflicted are made evil [by anxious thoughts and forebodings], but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast [regardless of circumstances]."
- Proverbs 15:15, Amplified (AMP)

In other words...
When we get a feeling that bad things will happen and then become controlled by our anxious thoughts, we by default begin to "foretell" our future which becomes bleak - we become unhappy, in low spirit, dejected and altogether losing confidence resulting in being troubled, burdened and distressed and then wonder why evil seems to be surrounding us. Yet those who have grateful hearts toward God have thoughts to praise Him and enjoy a continual feast, no matter the circumstances. Notice...in both cases the circumstances are the same - they are not good - yet it is about perspective in the midst of the hardships and difficulties.

Hope in God keeps us strengthened with God's supernatural love, revealing His peace and joy that are incomprehensible; overflowing with effortless celebration in the spirit knowing Who has accepted us as we know our confidence is in Him and Him alone...

We can no longer allow our thoughts to foretell our future...we must take our thoughts captive and bring them to the ONE WHO has our future!
