Triumphant Victorious Reminders

Written By: Teresa Criswell

"Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God."
~ Psalm 43:5 ~

God is so awesome. Do I truly know this, as I proclaim it?
God is so awesome all the time. Is this what I believe when my circumstances aren't awesome? Do I believe the illusions of the surmounting evil that attempt to convince me otherwise? The questions many are asking, "Where are You God?" "Why God?" "What do I do God?" "How can you possibly get me out of this one?"

There is so much going on in our world that pulls on, tears and destroys effecting many marriages, families, and individuals alike. The vicious cycle of destruction is not selective nor partial to age, race, gender, or class of people. However, I must say that most importantly, as the world's cares pull, tear and destroy; Almighty God is not a respector of persons. God in His awesome holiness, desires to bring together, restore and resurrect new life to that which has been pronouned dead and gone.

God wants us to rely on Him in ALL things. Even in the small endeavors of life, those choices in life that seem small and insignificant, are the very ones that usually leave a lasting mark on situations and people to come.

When we are tempted to question and judge God with the, "Where", "Why", "What", and "How"; may we see Him as the Answer to the Where, Why, What and longer seeing Him as a god who sleeps and slumbers.

Lord, You are the Answer to all of our problems. Thank You for providing The Answer through Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Lord, I am overwhelmed by Your glory which is my rear guard. You keep me, making sure that no one follows me with evil pursuits. Thank You for guiding me as I guard my heart and mind with that which You have already provided. Lord, Thank You that You are Holy, All Powerful, Almighty , Awesome God, and Indescribable in ALL your ways!

I must stir my mind as I am led by Your Holy Spirit with the awestruck power of who You are! Hallelujah!

Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written By: Teresa Criswell

My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise.
~ Psalm 57:7 ~

Tim and I walked into the restaurant. We waited for a moment. As we stood waiting, we were soon greeted by the hostess and with a smile, she led us to our table by which we were seated. As we sat across from each other, we were making small talk, when I suddenly became distracted by the television in the corner. As I watched the screen, seduced from where I was, I began to chuckle to about the same time I laughed, Tim did the same thing. I looked at him, assuming he was watching the same program, I turned around to see what he was watching when to my surprise we were watching two separate programs on two different televisions, he was watching a cartoon as I watched the news. At that moment, I said, "Tim, isn't it amazing? We are in the same restaurant, seated at the same table, have the same surroundings, yet we see things at this very moment quite differently, because of where we are positioned."

This reminder led me to the many people we interact with. We so often in life are at the same event, the same home, the same store and the same surroundings, yet due to circumstances and even life choices we have different perspectives. From where we stand we see at a different angle in that moment of our lives. Truly dependent upon our positioning.

Life is the same for everyone; yet from where we stand, circumstances are so different. You could be standing in the post office with four people. They are all in the same line awaiting for assistance. Some are one person closer to assistance and another is that much further from assistance. The one who is one person closer may not have to utilize patience to the necessary effectiveness that a person who is last in line will have to.

There are so many right now going through many different adversities. From pain of betrayal; a devastating job loss; disappointment of an expectation not met; sickness, disease and even death. On the other side, there are those who are in celebration of each other as husband and wife; a financial and job promotion; a reality that far exceeds an expectation; healing; a new life born; and triumph over disease. From the added stress to the relief of stress it comes upon all of us. It will come and go and come back again. The cycle of life will be just that...another cycle. The wheels of life keep turning.

My question in all of this. Will I embrace the ones who are in need of an encouraging word or an encouraging hand? Will I see a need and provide for it, if the ability to do so is provided? Will I cry with those who mourn or will I ignore their cries? If I am stripped of all my possessions, will I still be able to look at my God and continue to proclaim that He is my Provider? If I am struck with disease, will I continue to look and proclaim that my God is Healer? My position must be steadfast and in constant dependency upon Jesus Christ my Rock.

I must remember that perspective changes when my position changes...however, no matter the perspective I must rely on the Immovable, Unchangeable, Indescribable Holy God!

March 29, 2010, "Holy!"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written by: Teresa Criswell

"In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim: each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one cried to another and said:
"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!" And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke."
~ Isaiah 6:1-3 ~

The emphasis of God's Holiness is purely Holy. The Spirit of Holy God, is even referred to as Holy...hence Holy Spirit!

The written Word in the Prophet Isaiah's book in chapter six; has the the word Holy written out three times to show the great emphasis of what was being witnessed and heard by Isaiah (refer to 'Drawing Near', by John Bevere)! The emphasis of Who He is was the attempt to reach to the hearer and to the reader of the great power of the Seraphim who proclaimed to each other who God is!!!! It was proclaimed with such power that the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of the Seraphim(more than one Seraph angel) who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke! The house this speaks of is none other than heaven! Can you imagine? Heaven, unable to hold firm the powerful declaration of Holy God? Imagine if you can for a moment, The Glory of God is so powerful, brighter than who knows how many suns...God which has no darkness, so much so that there are NO shadows to be seen in His Holy, glorious presence!

This is beyond mind blowing. When I realize a glimpse of God's Holiness; it is more than just a song we sing, "Holy, Holy, Holy..." The Holiness declared from the mighty Seraph angels are proclaimed with such power. Their proclomation is so boldly proclaimed that it utterly shakes the door posts of heaven! Now get this...we aren't talking door frames like in our homes...we're talkin' door posts. I attempt to believe that the door post that Isaiah refers to is that of a post that is as far below the ground as it is above! Think about that...the posts aren't going anywhere...yet, when it comes to declaring the Holiness of God...even the mighty doorposts are shaken...leaving the 'house' filled with smoke!!!!!

Can you imagine such Holiness? Realizing such powerful Holiness leads me to a fearing awe that draws me closer to Him! The glimpse of Holy God can only lead you to your knees. This amazing Holiness can only lead every circumstance trying to come against you to the ground, obliterating and annihilating EVERY care and burden into nothingness in comparison to God's Holiness!

I am in this state of an awestruck daze as I truly try to imagine such Holy Power! The most famous God! The King of kings! The name, King of kings leads me to a reminder. Several years ago when we lived in Michigan, we went to Toledo, Ohio together, which is less than an hour and a half from where we lived. As we were driving we noticed the name of a fellowship that gathered together and on their sign read, "King of kings". My husband looked at the sign and out of his mouth flowed this amazing revelation, "Teresa, God is the King of kings for He needs no advisors!" That moment was so powerful to catch a glimpse of Holy God that I still remember that moment as though it was literally right now!

To be in awe of Holy God, reminders come to me:
God doesn't need our assistance!
God doesn't need our advice!
God doesn't need to go to the most amazing ruler there ever was to receive advice! God is The King of all kings! The Advisor of all advisors! The Holy of holies!
God is waiting for us to echo what the heavens are declaring...His Awesome Holiness!

This is a huge, uncomfortable, 'temper tantrum' stretch for me and my flesh. There is much I must put down as He commands for us who say we are His to be holy as He is Holy (I Peter 1)! As my dad says, "We not only talk it, but we must live it."

March 27, 2010, Thank You Lord for the Gift of Life!

"As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God."
~ Psalm 42:1 ~

Thank You Lord for the gift of Life! Thank you for our daughter who I was privileged to meet ten years ago today! Wow! To know that I get to be her mom is so amazingly awesome! Thank You Lord for Your gift of Redemption through Jesus Christ which I could not earn...and for her life which I did not deserve in and of myself. Lord, she is truly an inspiration to drawing closer to You. Thank You for her life. I pray Your great protection over her and the calling You have on her life. I pray that she moment by moment; continually; desperately abides in You...especially in the beautiful and wonderful seasons of her life! Lord, I pray she runs after You just as much as she would if she was in desperate need of You. I pray and am grateful in advance that she pants after You and even better; I pray that I pant after You, like a deer pants for the water.

You are Awesome God! I applaud Who You ARE! I applaud Your Awesome Name!

March 26, 2010, "Shepherd of shepherds"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders

Written By: Teresa Criswell

"But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; in fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple."

~ Psalm 5:7 ~

Jesus! Shepherd of shepherds! King of kings! Lord of lords!

I 'baaaaaaahhhhh' to whatever sounds good like a dumb sheep...but I have not been 'bowing' to Your sound Truth as Your daughter of You The King!

Lord, conforming to this world is what I do really well...yet, I know that this is not of You, because of my yielding to conformity, it has deformed my acknowledgement and obedience of YOU! Transforming Truth, through YOUR WORD!
I have been called to be transformed to the likeness of You, revealing Your kingdom!

Lord, I don't know what the Kingdom of You truly looks like.
I have these great cliche images,
but I truly need and desire to know what the Kingdom looks like!
But before I can even do this, I must truly know You The King!

Not just knowing You as I see fit...but I truly want to know You!
My Salvation!
My Redeemer!
My Shepherd!
My Glorious Father!
My Majestic King!

I Need to KNOW YOU! I don't want to just know You in the way others tell me I must know YOU..but I desire MORE. I desire YOU! I don't just want to study the aspects of YOU...but I want to study Your face and be fixed on YOU!

My heart is yearning for much more than I thought could ever be desired in knowing You!

With great exhuberation...I must know You JESUS! You HAVE OVERCOME! YOU ARE THE OVERCOMER OF overcomers! I don't want to know all the self help stuff that makes me a better person...I am done with SELF...I need YOU!

I CRY out to YOU God!
I Cry out to You!

Lord, do you hear me?
Do you hear me?
Do you hear me?
I need You My King!
I want to do YOUR Kingdom Work...
I want to encourage...
I want to exhort...
I want to nurture in ways I have never imagined!

"Teresa, I hear your desperate cry. I hear you. You want to hear me? My Word reveals what You must hear! Do NOT implement the ways of the world into how you worship ME! When you implement the ways of the world, religion, the way of the ancient pagan...this I abhor. When you attempt to do Kingdom work...the attempt is like an does not flourish.
You want to flourish? Abide in ME the Flourisher!
You want to encourage? Abide in Me the Great Encourager!
You want to EXHORT! Exhort ME and abide in ME the Exhorter of exhorters!
Do not confuse these giftings with flattery!
My giftings in you from Me are not to be used for your own vain flattery.
They must be utilized, for those gifts are not of you or belong to you..they are loaned to you.
Do not use My giftings for your own expenditures. Those giftings are likened to a budget. That budget is for a specific purpose and not for personal use or for your own personal gain!"

Wow! Lord...I fear You! I truly feel Your beautiful, overwhelming embrace as I repent.

Thank You for Your Truth!

I love You...I am desperate for You..

I pray that this desperation would be followed through with great fervency to TRULY follow You with obedience, revealing Your transforming power!

Lord, many of us have justified for way too long that to reach the 'masses' we must conform to what the people think they want! I am seeing that what we think we want, we truly don't want...only YOU can fulfill those desires that You have for each of us! In turn we place You in a tiny box....YOU will not be contained!

You give us a ministry and we say we shouldn't use Your name because it may scare people off...we assume, yet how do we truly know this? How much more ignorant can I be of Who I say I know whom I serve! I must be like David...who knew whom He served! O God! Help me not to take your mercy for granted.

Triumphant Victorious Reminders

II Kings 17, Romans 12:1 & 2

Lord Jesus. Brother. King and Son of God! Thank You for Your Truth. I am so grateful yet it is initially painful as Your Truth steps on my traditions.

I am amazed how your Truth can even cause anger to take flight within my soul. Justification of my actions would attempt to calm the billowing waves of conviction that chip away at the massive rocks that I have allowed to build up with the unknown and unintentional lies.

Lord, I am slowly seeing that in the end all that will matter is obedience unto You. I must remember this. I must remember that I am not to be conformed to this world; but to be transformed, continuously by Your Word. Searching out, making sure I do not go the way as the ancient heathen. I do not want to be accused of the same sins as the Israelites in the Old Testament. O Lord, this is so difficult, but I know that through You Jesus, Yeshua, my BIG BROTHER, I can do anything that You have called me to.

Thank You for Your Spirit, the Holy Spirit that is within me, getting me back to the Cornerstone of Whom I do not want to ever reject; whether it be intentional or unintentional. I love You Lord.

Thank You Father for being Truth; beyond fact or reality....You are Truth!

March 24, 2010, "Prayer"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders

Matthew 6:1-18

Lord, I am grateful for Matthew, the former tax collector who recorded in writing a glimpse of Your powerful Truth which poured forth from Your mouth into the earth, upon the ears of the desperate listeners. I am humbled by the prayer that You taught us to simply pray.

You warned the listeners from that time and even now, placing great significance on entering the secret place or closet of prayer. Not just entering the closet of prayer but then after entering that place to shut the door and then pray to the Father which is in secret; and You Father which sees in secret shall reward us openly. You even went as far as saying, do not use vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. You said, "Be not like them" for You Lord knows what we are in need of before we even ask You. You then stated furthermore, pray this prayer:

"Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be or reverently respecting and fearing Your name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,. forever. Amen." (Matthew 6:9-13).

After You showed the people what to pray, you mentioned the importance of forgiveness. You said, "Forgive men their trespasses, so that your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15).

Lord, thank You for the reminder to not complicate that which You have gifted us, the secret place of prayer with and to You.

By faith I must trust You.
By faith I must believe You.
By faith I must know You.
By faith I must experience You, and
By faith I must reveal and proclaim who You are with both my words and life!

The reward that you openly shed upon me, I pray is Your glorious presence that is uncontained by heaven, must overflow upon the earth through each of us who say we are Yours.

Triumphant Victorious Reminders

"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure."
~ Philippians 2:5-13 NKJV~

Jesus, as I close my eyes, I imagine the desperate people as they stretched forth their hands to touch You. I ponder the moments in which the overwhelming crowds gathered to see You. The crowds witnessed Your display of the marvellous works of God. I imagine the children gathering around You, as they knew with great confidence that Your outstretched arms were the eternal description of acceptance.

I declare with great thanksgiving of Your acceptance of me and for allowing me to accept You as my Lord. Thank You for rescuing me as I call You my Savior. I shake my head in wondrous adoration that You one day will show forth Your Glorious Might. Your Glorious Might will shake the foundations of the earth. Your Glorious Might will shake the very foundations of the ones who shook their fists at you with their lives as to say, there is no need for You. Yet in that prideful stance we will all bow our knees to You! The King of kings and will confess with our tongues that You are Lord of lords!

Lord, I thank You that You are the One I serve; with great fear and trembling I run to Your powerful yet loving embrace. Thank You Jesus for reconciling and redeeming back such a beautiful relationship with the Father God by the power of The Holy Spirit. Your resurrection power from death is that same power that causes me to be a new creation in You! All I had to do was say, "Yes" to Your gift! You have never forced Your gift of Salvation, You offer with great powerful love and I was desperate enough to receive it! I knew my need to be rescued; but looking back with great thankfulness; I see even more so how desperately I needed to be rescued! Thank You! Wow to You King of kings! Rescuer of rescuers! Hallelujah! You are Holy!

"Woe to him who strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him who forms it, 'What are you making?' Or shall your handiwork say, 'He has no hands'?"
~ Isaiah 45:9 ~

If you have sound to your voice then speak out loud! Let your ears hear God's glorious Majesty! If your voice has been muted then sign with great declaration God's glorious power!

Declaration of One Who Is Impressed by Almighty God!
Written By: Teresa Criswell, Daughter of the Righteous King

The seas roar
The waves with great force
beat against the mighty and many boulders of the sea.
The boulders crumble; falling into the great massive waters.
The mountains greatest peaks of the world all together they
behold and declare Your glorious Majesty!

O Lord, You are Lord!
You own and not only possess the deed of the universe ~
You are the Possessor and Creator of all that You have made
with the sound of Your voice.

Yet you have fashioned us so beautifully (Psalm 139) with Your glorious hands; I must declare Your handiwork more so than Your great creation who behold and declare
Your glorious Majesty!

I have only caught a minute glimpse of Your massive, immeasurable, uncontainable Glory, yet, the awe is so overwhelming. I am so honored and blessed that no man ~ no one has the capability of containing any logical explanation of Your Holy, Glorious Spirit!

I can attempt with great failure to measure Your greatness.
I can attempt with great failure to contain You, however, You the indescribable,
uncontainable God will burst, explode, annihilate, consume like never consumed before these containers that we attempt to measure you by. Your immeasurable strength and glory scoff at such acts to restrain You.

O God! You are so amazing, indescribable, glorious, more than worthy to be praised beyond eternity!

"And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil."
~ Luke 7:37-38 ~

What would it be like Lord to be sitting at Your feet as she did? The aching humbleness from deep within my spirit, reveal the great joy of being close to You. I imagine my head humbly bowing to You, in that moment, my eyes drawn to the massive holes of the scars from the nails that were so violently pierced through your glorious feet. Your feet, so beautiful which spread the infallible truth of the Peace of God!

Suddenly, the strands of my hair stretch forth desiring to touch your feet as Mary did. As the locks of my hair fall upon Your victorious feet of Triumph over death, hell and the grave; tears of gratefulness roll down my face. My tears stream down my face, falling as off a cliff into a valley of great, glorious power. Your glorious feet receive my tears as I cling to Your feet. Clinging to You, slowly raising my face towards Yours; my body shakes as uncontrollable weeping overwhelms me because of Your powerful love. The locks of my hair, the tears from within and my grateful, rescued heart unite with a praise never heard before; revealing You, Whom I adore!

I proclaim that which You already know: You are amazing! I am awestruck by Your glorious Love. I am awestruck to action: to be lovely to others, as You have given me much mercy and lovingkindness; so I must lavishly reveal that which I have received from You.

I am humbly reminded of Your great love and willingness to obey Your Father God. I have said it before Lord, and I proclaim it again, "From the depths of my soul and spirit, Your beautiful rescuing power digs a well of gratitude that spews out with such force as I am humbled by Your great Love!"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders

Written By: Teresa Criswell

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
~ John 3:16 ~

Lord Jesus, I am in awe, amazed, impressed, moved and touched to the deepest parts of me that I get to talk to You,. I get to talk to You at any time, at any moment. Thank You that Your promise of the Holy Spirit lives within me as I have accepted Your gift of Salvation. I am also in great wonder that You don't force Your gift on anyone. It is us that You allow to accept or reject You.

Lord, You do not force or rub in our faces of what You did. You offer us a gift, and it is our choice to receive or reject it. I am so grateful that after all those years of rejecting You that I finally accepted You. Not just because I can say, "I am saved." But I can say, "Look who I get to be a daughter of...I'm a daughter of the King and I get to embrace You." The threshold, once I crossed over into Salvation, I never knew what could be had; until I truly met You. It is no longer about an idea of who You are; but actually knowing who You are! I am learning glimpses of who You are moment by moment and I am enthralled by You! I am beyond enthralled and captured by Your tender mercies.

Lord, I want to realize at every moment; the awesome times, the real trying times that I need and desire You at every moment. I don't want to jump up and down because of Your blessings; I want to jump up an down because I get to praise and worship You; the One who rescued me from myself and eternal separation from God.

Jesus, I thank You. I am eternally grateful that I could accept You as my Lord and Savior. I pray that others will accept You not only because of what You did; but because my life reveals what You have done and continue to do and they want and desire what I have
From the depths of my soul and spirit, Your beautiful rescuing power digs a well of gratitude that spews out with such force as I am humbled by Your great Love!

"But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no partiality and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of goodness.
~ James 3:17-18 ~

Your wisdom Lord is PURE!
Your wisdom is also peace loving; gentle at all times; willing to yield to others; full of mercy and good deeds; shows no favortism or partiality and is always sincere.

I love this description of wisdom; which is WHO YOU ARE! Hmmmmmmmmm...Jesus, You are pure and Holy! You are peace loving! You are gentle at all times! You yielded to all of us; that we may be redeemed back to our Father! You showed no partiality and ALWAYS sincere; you died for each of us as individuals. I am amazed that you died for even those who would reject You; Wow! Your action of Your Wisdom defies our earthly wisdom. Lord, You have called me to be a peacemaker. You want the seeds I sow to plant peace and that which comes forth is goodness; revealing You!

I want to be a maker of peace by Your power which is given to me by the Holy Spirit. Your wisdom does not assist me in becoming a 'compromisemaker'; but a peacemaker.

Your Peace making power is gentle when I want to go violently mad.
Your Peace making power yields to others when I want to yield to my own desires and agendas.
Your Peace making power is overflowing mercy and does good; unlike my own way, which is a 'natural' knee jerk reaction to be unmerciful and give wrong for wrong.
Your peace making power is sincere and shows no favortism; unlike my own way, which wants to give my full attention to the ones who are easy to celebrate.

You are so awesome my God! Thank You for revealing Your peace through Your pure wisdom! You are so beautiful God! Thank You! Thank You for Your Holiness and Your vast power!

You make NEW; there is no template known to anyone on Your NEW! You create with such awesome power! Again, no words can come close to describe such beautiful power that reveals only a glimpse of You!

Awe. Wonder. Majesty. All-Powerful. Holy. Glory. Righteous. Faith. Faithful. Merciful. Almighty. Indescribable. Incomprehensible. Uncontainable.

Where do I start? Where do I begin?
Your matchless wonder; to whom You are more than worthy to be praised!

Lord, thank You for the reminder today to never call those things worthless that You have called valuable. Especially when it comes to talking about me. Thank You for reminding me at the same time that it is ok to realize apart from You I can do nothing. But not allowing that to be an excuse to do nothing; for with You I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Apart from you, I am nothing.

Apart from You, I don't know who I am. Yet with You and because Your Holy Spirit is in me, I now know who I am because I know that You are The Great I Am as Christ revealed You and I am to reveal You by the power of the Holy Spirit!

Lord! Wow! Wow! Wow! The words that I try to 'muster' with great eloquence humbly bow, as no words can truly proceed attempting to describe Your Awesome Greatness and Holiness! You leave me in wonder of Your Great Wonderful Majestic Holiness that is Glory!

I love You my Awesome God! There is no other god like you, no not one!

Written By: Teresa Criswell

"The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters."
~ Psalm 29:3 ~

Humbled is all creation; all living creatures, great and small declare, "You Reign"!
Lord, I am humbled and woo'ed to seek Your glorious face.
My eyes must stay fixed on You!
Your glory is made manifest upon the earth as the smoke from the mountains reveal their mighty destructive power!
The jagged peaks reveal the beating heart of the earth; peaks that are raised above the clouds show Your glorious Handiwork!

Jesus! Thank You for revealing The Father's Glorious Love!
Thank You for revealing His beauty as His majesty is enthralled by great adoration of Who He is!
You are Glorious! You are Mighty! You are More than Worthy!
More than worthy to be praised!

The heavens declare Your glory,
Your glory and Who You are cannot be contained
(I Kings 8:27, II Chron. 2:6, II Chron. 6:18).
Containment itself would not dare attempt to contain You, Almighty God!

Lord, Your praises must be heard throughout all the earth!
You are awesome O God...beyond what my mind and mouth could articulate into words; you are far greater than even a mass of words placed together with great eloquence. You are far greater than what every part of human kind's vocabulary could attempt to muster; only failing at such a feat attempting to describe Who You are!

You are Glorious King! You are Glorious Lord! You are Glorious!

March 15, 2010, "God's Excellence"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written By: Teresa Criswell

"O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens...when I consider the heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of Him..."
~ Psalm 8 ~

Do you hear them singing?
Do you hear the birds chirping?
What seems as an annoyance at times; may we see as a concert of praise to You O God!
They are singing their glorious praises to the King!
They sing, "Come and adore Him!
Glory and Majesty belong to Him and to Him only!"

As a mighty trumpet, I declare:
Praise be to You King, Lord and Creator who lifted the mountains up from the depths.
Praise be to You King, Lord and Creator who named each star and galaxy.

The awesomeness to know that You are still mindful of each of us; in the midst of Your Glory brings me closer to You, as the fear of Who You are draws me closer to You; closer than I could ever imagine and in that drawing close to You, You with such restoring refreshment offers Your powerful Love that is endlessly overwhelming!

You draw me to my knees as I am humbled by Your loving Majesty!
Your name never wears or grows tired!
Hallelujah to You O King!
Your name is greatly to be praised!
Your face I seek, not just Your Words, but also Your face!
I am in awe of You, my great and powerful God!

Thank You Jesus for what You came to do; to re-establish God's great love for ALL of us.

Your love for me is not meant to stop at me; but that love to me is to go through me as it overflows like a mighty, rushing waterfall, displaying your powerful, love that overwhelms, engulfs with great refreshing power over and upon others!

Lord, as the rainbow reveals your covenant to the earth and to man; may my life reveal Your covenant as Your love is made manifest to ALL. Through Your great love, there is boldness to stand for Your Infallible Truth and in that, resisting every evil that subtly tries to make place in my mind and life!

You are greatly to be praised!

I must join the chorus of the awe of Your Great Holiness!

Triumphant Victorious Reminders

"The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork."
~ Psalm 19:1 ~

"...For behold, He who forms mountains, and creates the wind, Who declares to man what his thought is, And makes the morning darkness, Who treads the high places of the earth-- The LORD God of hosts is His name."
~ Amos 4 (Amos 4:13)~

As my husband and I were lifted up by the beautiful sounds of the birds singing their praises unto Almighty God, my spirit started to sing a song. I ran and got my pen and journal writing that which I heard coming out of me and placed it on the pages of my journal. After writing it, I was elated to share it with my husband when after he heard the song coming off the pages into the atmosphere; he proclaimed, "Creation's Creed"!

Creation's creed this morning left me standing in awe of Your majesty.
You are honor and majesty.
You are worthy to be praised!
Creation is in awe of Your glory!
The earth shakes as the mountains tremble
The rocks run down to bow before Your glory and they run into the depths of the sea
causing the great roars and the billowing of the waves.
The porpoise, the dolphins, the great whales of the sea leap to the sky
dancing before You.

The birds soar drawn to their Majestic Creator.
Reflections of the praise throughout all the earth reveal creations
awe of You.
To hear the birds sing a new song to You O God.

The squirrels run, the blue jays soar.
To hear their melody unto you leads me to praise and worship and to humbly adore You!
You are God ~ You are King!

Your lovingkindness is better than life itself!
Do you hear the sound?
The sound of adoration?

Hallelujah God! You are greatly to be praised!
In the earth; above the earth; below the earth; above the sea; below the sea; in the heavens; above the heavens; below the heavens!
You are God! Thank You Jesus that You are in heavenly places sitting, exercising Your glorious authority at the right hand of our Father God!

March 12, 2010, "The Gospel; The Infallible Truth"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written By: Teresa Criswell

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek."
~ Romans 1:16 ~

Lord, this has been gnawing at me all day: "...I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ...." Wow! Lord, this is truly a profound statement! For the writer to say this, there is high probability that there would be reason for the natural man to be ashamed. But Lord, ashamed of what? The Gospel? But who would be ashamed of the Gospel or what I have heard and even seen as 'Good News'? When I look up the English definition of the word gospel, there are several; yet when I read the last definition Lord, I about jumped out of my seat! According to the Webster's Dictionary, it is defined as something, such as an idea or principle, accepted as unquestionably true ('infallible-incapable of failing-truth). So in other words, I can read Romans 1:16 like this, "I am not ashamed of The Infallible Truth of Christ"?

Hmmmmm....This leads me to a few of many different things You have called us to. Lord, what do you call us to? Well, I know from what You did Lord on this earth, You have called and equipped us to do those things that cause us to examine our hearts. In relation to examining our heart You went as far as giving parables of the different conditions of our hearts. Wow! The four different kinds of soil; three you warned us not to be. When our heart becomes like the ground on the wayside the seed (The Word of God) is snatched away. The stony ground receives the Word with great joy, but does not take root and then when troubles come fall away. The seed sown into ground among the thorns, grows but then gets choked with the cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. However, we can have the heart of fertile soil or good ground which produces a great harvest which is produced with patience; expecting a harvest from The Harvester; YOU (Luke 8:11-15)!

I am not to be ashamed of the infallible truth of Christ pertaining to forgiveness either. Now this one is difficult. It is a MUST, a mandate to forgive others so You God our Father will forgive us (Matthew 6). This is not popular among the world or even myself. Wow! Many of us feel as though we have the right to hold onto those wrongs by people who have hurt us, many times whether it be through a betrayal, neglect, abandonment, a wrongful death, and the worst is those awful violations sexually, immorally, unethically. We are called to forgive even those wrongs Lord? Yes! Lord, this is difficult, but will I be ashamed of this infallible truth?

What about the power that You gave the apostles when they cast out demons, healed all kinds of sickness and all kinds of diseases, and raised the dead. Your infallible truth of Christ has given us the power to do this even to this very day. Lord, those who believe this, it just seems weird and odd, yet, this is also the infallible Truth of Christ.

Another infallible truth was spoken forth as You said, "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword." (Matthew 10:32-34). I'm getting it...the Gospel; the Infallible Truth, I am not to be ashamed of. It is not the 'fluff and puff' of what we want to hear. Your infallible truth frees us from the bondages of what is comfortable as we lie in lies. I see right now how my heart must be constantly kept. My heart must be kept by Your Word; as a garden must be kept. The condition of my heart is likened to the garden of my heart. The condition of my heart is what sets the success or failure of what is received in regards to You and Your Word.

Lord, I do not want to be ashamed of the infallible truth of Jesus Christ. I am called to worship You Father God; however, I nor anyone else can worship You except through You, Who is the Infallible Truth. You are The Way, The Truth and The Life...Jesus...Yeshua!

I am in awe of You Lord! In awe!

March 11, 2010, "Redeemed To and Redeemed From"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written By: Teresa Criswell

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever. Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others He has saved you from your enemies."
~ Psalm 107:1 & 2 ~

Lord! I give thanks to You. But how do I really give thanks to You O God? How? I know why in such a powerful way...but How do I express with all that I am my exhuberant thanks to You? I shout to You with great passion, "You have redeemed me!!!!" I will speak out and tell others that You have saved me from my biggest biggest enemy being, me!

I am overwhelmed by Your amazing, redeeming power! There are so many forms of the word redeem. No matter the form, You are Redemption! I thank You as my soul attempts to thank You! You redeemed me to You and redeemed me from being separated from You! Your redeeming power brings Salvation. Your Salvation brings the abundance to live, even when death attempts to tempt me with the rejection to live in and with Your massive abundance!

Abundance to live! Lord, I must see my soul and spirit line up with Your Word. Abundance to live in such a way that blows the minds of the spectators.

Would wealth be great? Of course it would; especially in the financial realm, however your abundance is much more than the worldly definition of abundance. I want the abundance of Your glorious presence in my life! I desire to long to desire You! I desire that I never place stipulations on You because of my own shortcomings. My shortcomings dare not tell You that Your arm is too short for anything (Jeremiah 32)!

Lord, thank You that You use the foolish things to baffle the minds of the 'wise'. You use the weak to baffle the minds of the 'strong' I Corinthians 12). When I think on You, and then think of the most intimidating man besides You, I laugh at our haughtiness to say how great and terrible they are. The intimidators may be able to kill the body; but they cannot kill my spirit!

Even the mountains tremble at Who You are; they do not dare puff up with smoke and say, "I am higher than You Lord." No! They declare how low they are in comparison to Who You are, smoke comes forth as if to shield themselves; greatly fearing You!

O God! How excellent You are! I am reminded by Your great redeeming power of how I must speak out. My mind cannot help but boast in the One who rescued me from myself!

March 10, 2010, "The Foolish and The Weak"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written by: Teresa Criswell

"But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;"
~ I Corinthians 1:27 ~

Lord, You are so amazing!
You are beyond my comprehension of amazing.
You are beyond my comprehension of power and strength.

The beautiful, aweing displays of power on this earth do not hold a flicker of light in comparison to Who You are and Your mighty Power and Strength!

I am dumbfounded and awestruck as utter incomprehensible fathombility annihilates my mind to attempt to describe my aweness of You. Yes Lord, I even have to make up words to attempt to describe how my mind is like 'mush' in awe of You.

Wow, Lord! Wow! Holy! Holy! Holy! Your throne is surrounded by the reverent awe of Your Holiness and Majesty!

Lord, You use the foolish things of this world to confuse, perplex and befuddle the 'wise'. You have chosen the weak things of this world to confuse and turn upside down the things which are mighty.

Lord, I see the how and the why pride has no place before You. Pride not only comes before destruction (Proverbs 16:18), but it also hinders me from being utilized in ways I could never imagine. The wisest of all the wise on this earth cannot come near Your wisdom. Even if there was a weakness in You (I Corinthians 1:25), which there is not, but if there was, Your greatest weakness would still be even stronger than the strongest person that has or will ever exist. It would be better for me to become foolish that I may truly be wise. Humbling myself before You, You will lift me up (James 4:10).

Who You are and what You desire from me has nothing to do with the patterns of this world. The wisdom of man is like straw, wood and hay in comparison to You (I Corinthians 3)! All of it will be consumed by Your Holy Fire! It will mean nothing, zilch, zero in the end.

Wow! Where do I go from here? Little, insignificant me who loves to hear my own voice, haahaahaa! I yearn to hear Your voice. Your voice speaks constantly! You are God...Your glory is declared night and day in this physical dimension of where I live!

As I sit here drooling in awe of Your majesty, cross-eyed and baffled in the magnitude of Who You are, this in and of itself is declaring Your glory as I am in awe of You!

March 9, 2010, "Who can know it?"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written By: Teresa Criswell

"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?"
~ Jeremiah 17:9 ~

"For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
~ Hebrews 4:12 ~

Father God, I pray you would open that which I have closed.
The things of You that I have closed off, please open.
Lord, I don't even know my own heart, which is desperately wicked.
I am in desperate need for You to reveal my heart.
The condition of my heart, You know the thoughts and intents of my heart, that I don't even know.

I thank You for Your anointing to soften the hardened areas of my heart so that I may operate freely in who You are.

Lord, I know there are those throughout my household, neighborhood, those of whom I pass by in the parking lot or in the aisle of a store that You want to touch and will touch. When You intend to utilize me, I pray that I would be willing and obedient.

Lord, the power of the fear of rejection is what hinders and stops me from progressing. "What if they say, 'No'?" Yet you reply back, "What if they say, 'Yes'?"

You know the hearts of those who I know and whom I pass by. You know the achings in their hearts, the desires, the sins and the victories and what seem to them as major defeat.

Lord, I am in desperate need of keeping Your Word. If I must 'keep' Your Word, then I know there is a possibility that it can be taken from me. Many times it is taken or given unintentionally due to circumstances. There is a desperate, life changing 'must' to keep my mind stayed and focused on You.

Lord, thank You that nothing is impossible for You! Yet, it is impossible for You to lie. Almighty God, thank You that You are not a man that You should ever lie
(Numbers 23:19)! Thank You that this is truly an impossibility for You!

I love You Lord and I thank You for Your great revealing Truth that cuts deeper than the defintion of deep (Hebrews 4:12). Your Truth cuts with deep precision and great purpose, allowing freedom to manifest as I grow in You!

I pray I embrace Truth from You and from others. I don't want to reject Your truth because it doesn't make me feel good at the moment. Life in You is not about my very moment, it's about your moment in the midst of eternity. You are not subject to time, nor will You ever be, as You are eternal! May I embrace Truth and reject the lies. Thank You for what You shared with me through Tim today, "The saying, "Truth lies somewhere in the middle" is a lie. Truth doesn't lie and it's no where near the middle. Jesus! You are Truth! Thank You for revealing my desperately wicked heart as it is replaced with Your beauty of Truth!

March 8, 2010, "Soul Stay on God"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written By: Teresa Criswell

"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You."
~ Isaiah 26:3 ~

I shout with great proclamation!
With great declaration!
With great honor and reverence to The King of kings!

Lord God, Your vastness is beyond glorious!
Your glory is beyond comprehension.
The universe is in the palm of your hand!
How vast are You O God?

In awe of You, how does my soul lead me to the depths of fear?
I see more clearly, how my spirit must lead my soul by praising You.
My life depends on praising You.

Lord, many times my soul tells my mouth to shut up in praising You.
O how I must stir myself up by Your Power, The Holy Spirit to lead my mouth to lead my mind to Your mighty throne of grace. I must boldly proclaim who You are!

Why shouldn't I? All of creation declares and proclaims Your awesome glory!
O mind, be captivated by the God who has no beginning nor end.
For Almighty God is The Beginning and The End!

When my soul leads me to the depths of depression, I feel as though I
am in the depths of hell.
All I am consumed with is me, my frailties and my fears.
Some of my fears are still unknown, I don't even know my own fears, yet I am consumed by that which has not done anything but lead me to the deep pits of hell.

I must break free from the shackles, that You have victoriously freed me from!
Shouting forth the cry of Victory! "JESUS! JESUS! JESUS!"

Depression is a pressing down of that which needs to come up! Come forth! And come out beyond overflowing!

I speak to my soul as depression must relinquish it's grip on me! I say to myself, "I will not allow me to hold me back from the praises of my God! My victory is from my Lord! I will shout forth the praises of The Mighty One who holds all of the universe in the palm of His mighty yet gentle hands!"

My mind must be led to the violent, passionate waterfall of who You are! This is a constant, staying on who You are! My mind must be stayed on You at every moment! As my mind is stayed on You, I look at others and even myself through Your eyes! I only see beauty. I only see forgiveness! I only see You! I am not called to love the sin, but despise it! I am to walk in Your ways O God! As I despise the sin in my own life and others, I thank You for Your compassion to flow as I fear and reverently honor You, by honoring others for Your name's sake!

My heart's cry is to lead my mind and my thoughts to You my King! I am your daughter. I am free, for I know Truth, which is my Savior Jesus! If I am Your daughter, then I must proclaim it with my life! The high standards of this world still does not come close to what You have graced me to rise above!

Your standard is Your Word. There are no 'pluralities' in Your is One Standard and it is according to Who the Truth and Standard is...The Prince of Peace! The Lion of Judah! The King of kings! The Shepherd of shepherds! The Bright and Morning Star! The Way. The Truth. The Life! Yeshua, Jesus! Jesus!

March 6, 2010, "Revealing the Hands of The Potter, Not the Clay"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written By: Teresa Criswell

"Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work."
~ II Timothy 2:21 ~

Lord! King! Ruler of All! In the midst of Your Majestic, Awesome, Holy Greatness, You are mindful of us! Wow! You in all Your greatness, are mindful of me.

As I think upon who You are, I am reminded that upholding people You have created to a greater degree than You The Creator does not devalue or make You less than You are, it only hinders me from the true, vast beauty of Who You Are!

Lord, You in Your revealing Love, reveals the tickling desire in my heart to be upheld with accalades and notarity. Yet even in that, compared to Your matchless glory, makes it look like none other than worthless, stinky poop. Yet, in this reminder, I am reminded that I am only a vessel. As Your vessel I am purposed to reveal the Hands of You, not the clay from where I came (Isaiah 45:9).

Lord, the immaturity and self inflicted pain I have caused in times past only reveal the clay from who I am, yet Your awesome redeeming power and love through Jesus Christ reveals the vessel of Who You are and what You have formed and continue to form with Your glorious hands. I am amazed that you took me, as the hard dirt and miry clay that lie clumped together, crumpled with no hope in sight, yet, in Your Restoring, Healing hands You placed that Living Water in the midst of the hardened dirt and saw something so beautiful before anyone else saw it formed.

When I see myself and others, may I see them for what You are doing in us and through us. It's so easy to look at myself in my saddened state and say there's no hope, yet it takes You, Faith to say there's more than Hope with You, Who is my Hope!

O God, thank You for reminding me that because I am to be Your vessel, revealing Your hands, that You will be honored, glorified and praised as You are revealed. I am beginning to understand that this is truly the fear of You, Lord. Beyond reverencing You, but highly exalting You, transforming even the smallest decisions that I make to give glory to You.

Lord God, You are Mighty! You are Wonderful! You are indescribably awesome!

Thank You for Your mercy. I truly am grateful for Your grace that abounds to rise above the sin. Your grace is not given to me for the purpose of sinning, it is truly given to me for the purpose of rising above the sin!

I love You Lord, and I must stir myself up from the reservoirs of You within my spirit as I'm reminded by the Holy Spirit to be a vessel of honor, set apart and useful for the Master, prepared for EVERY good work. Lord, I also thank You that today is my spiritual birthday of 7 years being changed and transformed by You, as I finally said, "Yes" to your call of Salvation, entering through the threshold of things I could never imagine in You on March 6, 2003. Thank You my King, my Restorer, my Redeemer, my Salvation, through Jesus Christ! Thank You!

March 5, 2010, "Wow! You Lord Do Not Sleep!"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written By: Teresa Criswell

"He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber."
~ Psalm 121:3 NKJV~

Lord! I am amazed by how You do not slumber, sleep, or rest.
My soul and mind cannot comprehend such a feat.
As I rest my head upon the pillow of my bed,
I realize the vulnerability as I lie there unconscience is somehwat aweing to realize
that life truly goes on without my help or say.
The want to control that which I cannot control is a reminder from those few hours of sleep.

Yet, You Almighty God do not sleep.
And the reason You do not sleep is not due to restlessness.
You are Rest and You are Resting Place.
Lord, this wonderful reminder causes me to remember that when I am restless, I can and must rest in You.

When I am anxious, You are the 'God of do not be anxious'; In everything with prayer and supplication (earnestly begging), along with thanksgiving, and not complaining, I must make my requests known to You (Philippians 4:6). Not because You don't know my requests, but because when I cast those requests back over to You, there is cause for great Rest in The Resting Place which is You.

I can see a little more clearly now that when I cast my burdens, anxieties, cares, frustrations, hurts, and sins that I have committed, it is considered a blessing to You in the casting of the cares.

Lord, thank You that You do not slumber, nor do You sleep. You goodness causes me to wildly raise my hands that have been cleansed by You through the Blood of Jesus. My physical body cannot comprehend how to thank You enough, so the only thing my body can do is to do that which seems unnatural and that is to extend outwardly, bringing inwardly, that others may experience a glimpse of Your embrace that I have so been given by You. To much You have given to me, much is required!

I am so grateful that what You require of me is not something I cannot offer from myself, but what You require is from You and what You have already provided with overflow!

I love You my Father, my Resting Place, my Strong Tower. I run after You!

"You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands!"
~ Isaiah 55:12 NLT ~

Lord, You are my Refuge and Strength!
You are Salvation!
You are Power!
You are Love!

Lord, with or without us You Remain Awesome, Powerful, Loving, Merciful. You are Resting Place. You are Restoration! You Are Relief when relief doesn't seem near. You are who You say You are!

God, I want to run after You. The way I run after the earthly desires, I want to run after You beyond my wildest imagination. I want my running after You to be as the rushing wind that dries up the rain and dew that has fallen on the ground. I want my running after You to be as though the wordly things have no hold or concern. Thank You Jesus for Your resurrection Power over death, hell and the grave! Thank You for the Redeeming Power of God's Love that desires to touch us and others through us in ways we could never hope for or imagine for Your glorious honor and majesty!

God You Remain when everything and everyone else refrains. You are Giver of all givers and even the takers. O Lord, How awesome You are! All of creation is in awe of Your majesty...they are so in awe that their declaration of Your glory is expressed with wildly violent passionate as though we see their bow revealed throughout the earth! It is as though as the earth quakes and the skies open up that they declare with a mighty, thunderous shout, "The King of kings is coming! Bow down and worship Him!"

Lord, my mind and soul are tossed about trying to comprehend Your magnificient majesty! O wow! Wow! Hear the earth and your children applaud with thunderous claps who we know we get to worship and adore! Lord not only are we able to be in awe of You, but we are able to be in awe with You! The twirlings of a child, the hair tossed in the wind, the leaves that blow so effortlessly along the blades of grass and dry land; O how they reveal the dance of the glorious praise and awe of Who You are!

I love You my Father God with Your love through Jesus Christ by the Awesome Power of Your Spirit, the Holy Spirit!

March 3, 2010, "Complaining to Praising"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written By: Teresa Criswell

"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up."
~ James 4:10 ~

Lord, thank You for the reminder yet again of the terminology, "Going around the mountain again." What brings me to that journey? Murmuring, complaining, justified murmuring, justified complaining. Wow, Lord! I am learning quite humbly that every idle word is just that, an idle word. The words I speak that are not of You, are just loose words yet carry great destruction. "I justify it, I buy it." (Lisa Bevere)

I have felt as though I have a right in the past to complain. Or the right to say how I feel about how someone has mistreated me...yet, would I dare ever complain about how I have mistreated others? Lord, I am gratefully humbled to be corrected by You.

I want to progress in my journey with You, not regress without You. You have given me my mouthpiece for a purpose. I am learning that You will utilize the willing and use the unwilling. I want to be the willing one, not the one who is unwilling to reside and abide in You and Your will.

How do I do that? I guess the question to ask is, "What can I learn to get to the how?" I am learning to be blown away by Who You are. I thank you for our Pastor who said, "When we become in awe of Your majesty, we realize at that very moment how insignificant we are, we become humbled and as we humble ourselves you will then lift us up."

The how is in the moment we become enamored by You, for You! It is an aweing thing to realize that You lift us up higher than what we could ever attempt to lift ourselves up on our own. What we lift up, will be brought down. When You O Lord lift us up, it is partly because we allow You to do what You desire.

Will I allow You Lord? Will I allow You Lord to lead me to progression? Or will my feeble, frail mind lead me to regression? Will I cease from going around the mountain and proceed to the other side?

The complaining must cease and the praises of You must increase! I love You Lord! Thank You for another learning lesson of Who You are and who I am not without You!

March 1, 2010, "Immaturity and Realzing it To Change"

lTriumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written By: Teresa Criswel

"A virtuous and worthy wife [earnest and strong in character] is a crowning joy to her husband, but she who makes him ashamed is as rottenness in his bones."
~ Proverbs 12:4 Amplified Bible ~

Lord, I am realizing how immature I truly am. The aching to know how much I haven't relied on You and seeing the effects of it is truly humbling.

My mind, my soul attempt to condemn me with great contractions of regret.

The waves of regret come and go and seem to come at a rythym. Lord, help me to get back to that place, under your merciful conviction so that with Your grace I may abound above the regret, and repent, turning and doing that new thing that is of You.

I am seeing where I truly need to grow up, and how I must absolutely, without a doubt depend on You for every growth spurt.

I have seen where I have this need to want to be accepted from all realms.

This sick desire to want approval; to please others so they don't get upset.

Lord, You have shown me whom I need to minister to the most; and that is my husband and children.

I need to stand on that which I know that I have been called to.

Lord, I don't want to only be a good wife because it makes me feel good to be one, I want to be the wife You have called me to be, because it is for Your glory and I am to be as a crown on my husband's head.

I don't want to just be a good mom as it benefits my ego, but I want to be a mom that benefits my children and blesses You as they are Your children.

Lord, thank You for the awakening. Some of the ways that have brought me to this place, were not in the best approach, yet no matter the approach, You so lovingly have revealed where I need to just stand and become accountable for that which I have done wrong. When I can do that, You will ALWAYS make new and make more than right.

Lord, I take these chains of bondage off and take hold of that which You have so triumphantly provided!

! thank You My Father God! Thank You! You are AWESOME and Your Majesty is to be greatly feared and in awe of!
