March 31, 2010, "Awesome God"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God." ~ Psalm 43:5 ~ God is so awesome. Do I truly know this, as I proclaim it? God is so awesome all the time. Is this what I believe when my circumstances aren't awesome? Do I believe the illusions of the surmounting evil that attempt to convince me otherwise? The questions many are asking, "Where are You God?" "Why God?" "What do I do God?" "How can you possibly get me out of this one?" There is so much going on in our world that pulls on, tears and destroys effecting many marriages, families, and individuals alike. The vicious cycle of destruction is not selective nor partial to age, race, gender, or class of people. However, I must say that most importantly, as the world's

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise. ~ Psalm 57:7 ~ Tim and I walked into the restaurant. We waited for a moment. As we stood waiting, we were soon greeted by the hostess and with a smile, she led us to our table by which we were seated. As we sat across from each other, we were making small talk, when I suddenly became distracted by the television in the corner. As I watched the screen, seduced from where I was, I began to chuckle to myself...at about the same time I laughed, Tim did the same thing. I looked at him, assuming he was watching the same program, I turned around to see what he was watching when to my surprise we were watching two separate programs on two different televisions, he was watching a cartoon as I watched the news. At that moment, I said, "Tim, isn't it amazing? We are in the same restaurant, seated at the same table, have

March 29, 2010, "Holy!"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written by: Teresa Criswell "In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim: each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one cried to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!" And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke." ~ Isaiah 6:1-3 ~ The emphasis of God's Holiness is purely Holy. The Spirit of Holy God, is even referred to as Holy...hence Holy Spirit! The written Word in the Prophet Isaiah's book in chapter six; has the the word Holy written out three times to show the great emphasis of what was being witnessed and heard by Isaiah (refer to 'Drawing Near', by John Bevere)! The emphasis of Who

March 27, 2010, Thank You Lord for the Gift of Life!

"As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God." ~ Psalm 42:1 ~ Thank You Lord for the gift of Life! Thank you for our daughter who I was privileged to meet ten years ago today! Wow! To know that I get to be her mom is so amazingly awesome! Thank You Lord for Your gift of Redemption through Jesus Christ which I could not earn...and for her life which I did not deserve in and of myself. Lord, she is truly an inspiration to drawing closer to You. Thank You for her life. I pray Your great protection over her and the calling You have on her life. I pray that she moment by moment; continually; desperately abides in You...especially in the beautiful and wonderful seasons of her life! Lord, I pray she runs after You just as much as she would if she was in desperate need of You. I pray and am grateful in advance that she pants after You and even better; I pray that I pant after You, like a deer pants for the water. You are Awesome God! I applaud Who Yo

March 26, 2010, "Shepherd of shepherds"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; in fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple." ~ Psalm 5:7 ~ Jesus! Shepherd of shepherds! King of kings! Lord of lords! I 'baaaaaaahhhhh' to whatever sounds good like a dumb sheep...but I have not been 'bowing' to Your sound Truth as Your daughter of You The King! Lord, conforming to this world is what I do really well...yet, I know that this is not of You, because of my yielding to conformity, it has deformed my acknowledgement and obedience of YOU! Transforming Truth, through YOUR WORD! I have been called to be transformed to the likeness of You, revealing Your kingdom! Lord, I don't know what the Kingdom of You truly looks like. I have these great cliche images, but I truly need and desire to know what the Kingdom looks like! But before I can even do this, I must truly know Y

March 25, 2010, "TRUTH"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell II Kings 17, Romans 12:1 & 2 Lord Jesus. Brother. King and Son of God! Thank You for Your Truth. I am so grateful yet it is initially painful as Your Truth steps on my traditions. I am amazed how your Truth can even cause anger to take flight within my soul. Justification of my actions would attempt to calm the billowing waves of conviction that chip away at the massive rocks that I have allowed to build up with the unknown and unintentional lies. Lord, I am slowly seeing that in the end all that will matter is obedience unto You. I must remember this. I must remember that I am not to be conformed to this world; but to be transformed, continuously by Your Word. Searching out, making sure I do not go the way as the ancient heathen. I do not want to be accused of the same sins as the Israelites in the Old Testament. O Lord, this is so difficult, but I know that through You Jesus, Yeshua,

March 24, 2010, "Prayer"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written by: Teresa Criswell Matthew 6:1-18 Lord, I am grateful for Matthew, the former tax collector who recorded in writing a glimpse of Your powerful Truth which poured forth from Your mouth into the earth, upon the ears of the desperate listeners. I am humbled by the prayer that You taught us to simply pray. You warned the listeners from that time and even now, placing great significance on entering the secret place or closet of prayer. Not just entering the closet of prayer but then after entering that place to shut the door and then pray to the Father which is in secret; and You Father which sees in secret shall reward us openly. You even went as far as saying, do not use vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. You said, "Be not like them" for You Lord knows what we are in need of before we even ask You. You then stated furthermore, pray this praye

March 23, 2010, "Rescuer of rescuers"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written by: Teresa Criswell "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for Hi

March 22, 2010, "Impressed to Declare"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "Woe to him who strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him who forms it, 'What are you making?' Or shall your handiwork say, 'He has no hands'?" ~ Isaiah 45:9 ~ If you have sound to your voice then speak out loud! Let your ears hear God's glorious Majesty! If your voice has been muted then sign with great declaration God's glorious power! Declaration of One Who Is Impressed by Almighty God! Written By: Teresa Criswell, Daughter of the Righteous King The seas roar The waves with great force beat against the mighty and many boulders of the sea. The boulders crumble; falling into the great massive waters. The mountains greatest peaks of the world all together they behold and declare Your glorious Majesty! O Lord, You are Lord! March 20, 2010, "His Glorious Feet"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil." ~ Luke 7:37-38 ~ What would it be like Lord to be sitting at Your feet as she did? The aching humbleness from deep within my spirit, reveal the great joy of being close to You. I imagine my head humbly bowing to You, in that moment, my eyes drawn to the massive holes of the scars from the nails that were so violently pierced through your glorious feet. Your feet, so beautiful which spread the infallible truth of the Peace of God! Suddenly, the strands of my hair stretch forth desiring to touch your feet as Mary did. As the locks

March 19, 2010, "Accepting Jesus' Gift of Salvation"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." ~ John 3:16 ~ Lord Jesus, I am in awe, amazed, impressed, moved and touched to the deepest parts of me that I get to talk to You,. I get to talk to You at any time, at any moment. Thank You that Your promise of the Holy Spirit lives within me as I have accepted Your gift of Salvation. I am also in great wonder that You don't force Your gift on anyone. It is us that You allow to accept or reject You. Lord, You do not force or rub in our faces of what You did. You offer us a gift, and it is our choice to receive or reject it. I am so grateful that after all those years of rejecting You that I finally accepted You. Not just because I can say, "I am saved." But I can say, "Look who I get to be a daughter of...I'm a daught

March 18, 2010, "Wisdom revealing Peace"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no partiality and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of goodness. ~ James 3:17-18 ~ Your wisdom Lord is PURE! Your wisdom is also peace loving; gentle at all times; willing to yield to others; full of mercy and good deeds; shows no favortism or partiality and is always sincere. I love this description of wisdom; which is WHO YOU ARE! Hmmmmmmmmm...Jesus, You are pure and Holy! You are peace loving! You are gentle at all times! You yielded to all of us; that we may be redeemed back to our Father! You showed no partiality and ALWAYS sincere; you died for each of us as individuals. I am amazed that you died for even those who would reject You; Wow! Y

March 17, 2010, "Wow"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God." ~ I Samuel 2:2 ~ Awe. Wonder. Majesty. All-Powerful. Holy. Glory. Righteous. Faith. Faithful. Merciful. Almighty. Indescribable. Incomprehensible. Uncontainable. Where do I start? Where do I begin? Your matchless wonder; to whom You are more than worthy to be praised! Lord, thank You for the reminder today to never call those things worthless that You have called valuable. Especially when it comes to talking about me. Thank You for reminding me at the same time that it is ok to realize apart from You I can do nothing. But not allowing that to be an excuse to do nothing; for with You I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Apart from you, I am nothing. Apart from You, I don't know who I am. Yet with You and because Your Holy Spirit is in me, I now know who I

March 16, 2010, "You Reign"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters." ~ Psalm 29:3 ~ Humbled is all creation; all living creatures, great and small declare, "You Reign"! Lord, I am humbled and woo'ed to seek Your glorious face. My eyes must stay fixed on You! Your glory is made manifest upon the earth as the smoke from the mountains reveal their mighty destructive power! The jagged peaks reveal the beating heart of the earth; peaks that are raised above the clouds show Your glorious Handiwork! Jesus! Thank You for revealing The Father's Glorious Love! Thank You for revealing His beauty as His majesty is enthralled by great adoration of Who He is! You are Glorious! You are Mighty! You are More than Worthy! More than worthy to be praised! Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens...when I consider the heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of Him..." ~ Psalm 8 ~ Do you hear them singing? Do you hear the birds chirping? What seems as an annoyance at times; may we see as a concert of praise to You O God! They are singing their glorious praises to the King! They sing, "Come and adore Him! Glory and Majesty belong to Him and to Him only!" As a mighty trumpet, I declare: Praise be to You King, Lord and Creator who lifted the mountains up from the depths. Praise be to You King, Lord and Creator who named each star and galaxy. The awesomeness to know that You are still mindful of each of us; in the midst of Your Glory brings me closer to You, as the fear of Who You are draws me clo

March 13, 2010, "Creation's Creed"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork." ~ Psalm 19:1 ~ "...For behold, He who forms mountains, and creates the wind, Who declares to man what his thought is, And makes the morning darkness, Who treads the high places of the earth-- The LORD God of hosts is His name." ~ Amos 4 (Amos 4:13)~ As my husband and I were lifted up by the beautiful sounds of the birds singing their praises unto Almighty God, my spirit started to sing a song. I ran and got my pen and journal writing that which I heard coming out of me and placed it on the pages of my journal. After writing it, I was elated to share it with my husband when after he heard the song coming off the pages into the atmosphere; he proclaimed, "Creation's Creed"! Creation's creed this morning left me standing in awe of Your majesty. You are honor and majesty. You are worthy

March 12, 2010, "The Gospel; The Infallible Truth"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek." ~ Romans 1:16 ~ Lord, this has been gnawing at me all day: "...I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ...." Wow! Lord, this is truly a profound statement! For the writer to say this, there is high probability that there would be reason for the natural man to be ashamed. But Lord, ashamed of what? The Gospel? But who would be ashamed of the Gospel or what I have heard and even seen as 'Good News'? When I look up the English definition of the word gospel, there are several; yet when I read the last definition Lord, I about jumped out of my seat! According to the Webster's Dictionary, it is defined as something, such as an idea or principle, accepted as unquestionably true ('infallible-incapable of failin

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever. Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others He has saved you from your enemies." ~ Psalm 107:1 & 2 ~ Lord! I give thanks to You. But how do I really give thanks to You O God? How? I know why in such a powerful way...but How do I express with all that I am my exhuberant thanks to You? I shout to You with great passion, "You have redeemed me!!!!" I will speak out and tell others that You have saved me from my biggest enemy...my biggest enemy being, me! I am overwhelmed by Your amazing, redeeming power! There are so many forms of the word redeem. No matter the form, You are Redemption! I thank You as my soul attempts to thank You! You redeemed me to You and redeemed me from being separated from You! Your redeeming power brings Salvation. Your Salvation brings the abundance to l

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written by: Teresa Criswell "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;" ~ I Corinthians 1:27 ~ Lord, You are so amazing! You are beyond my comprehension of amazing. You are beyond my comprehension of power and strength. The beautiful, aweing displays of power on this earth do not hold a flicker of light in comparison to Who You are and Your mighty Power and Strength! I am dumbfounded and awestruck as utter incomprehensible fathombility annihilates my mind to attempt to describe my aweness of You. Yes Lord, I even have to make up words to attempt to describe how my mind is like 'mush' in awe of You. Wow, Lord! Wow! Holy! Holy! Holy! Your throne is surrounded by the reverent awe of Your Holiness and Majesty! Lord, You use the foolish things of this world to confuse, perplex and befuddl

March 9, 2010, "Who can know it?"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" ~ Jeremiah 17:9 ~ "For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." ~ Hebrews 4:12 ~ Father God, I pray you would open that which I have closed. The things of You that I have closed off, please open. Lord, I don't even know my own heart, which is desperately wicked. I am in desperate need for You to reveal my heart. The condition of my heart, You know the thoughts and intents of my heart, that I don't even know. I thank You for Your anointing to soften the hardened areas of my heart so that I may operate freely in who You are. Lord, I know there are those throughout my household, neighborhood, those of whom I

March 8, 2010, "Soul Stay on God"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You." ~ Isaiah 26:3 ~ I shout with great proclamation! With great declaration! With great honor and reverence to The King of kings! Lord God, Your vastness is beyond glorious! Your glory is beyond comprehension. The universe is in the palm of your hand! How vast are You O God? In awe of You, how does my soul lead me to the depths of fear? I see more clearly, how my spirit must lead my soul by praising You. My life depends on praising You. Lord, many times my soul tells my mouth to shut up in praising You. O how I must stir myself up by Your Power, The Holy Spirit to lead my mouth to lead my mind to Your mighty throne of grace. I must boldly proclaim who You are! Why shouldn't I? All of creation declares and proclaims Your awesome glory! O mind, be captivated by the God who has no beginning nor end

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work." ~ II Timothy 2:21 ~ Lord! King! Ruler of All! In the midst of Your Majestic, Awesome, Holy Greatness, You are mindful of us! Wow! You in all Your greatness, are mindful of me. As I think upon who You are, I am reminded that upholding people You have created to a greater degree than You The Creator does not devalue or make You less than You are, it only hinders me from the true, vast beauty of Who You Are! Lord, You in Your revealing Love, reveals the tickling desire in my heart to be upheld with accalades and notarity. Yet even in that, compared to Your matchless glory, makes it look like none other than worthless, stinky poop. Yet, in this reminder, I am reminded that I am only a vessel. As Your vessel I am purposed to reveal t

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber." ~ Psalm 121:3 NKJV~ Lord! I am amazed by how You do not slumber, sleep, or rest. My soul and mind cannot comprehend such a feat. As I rest my head upon the pillow of my bed, I realize the vulnerability as I lie there unconscience is somehwat aweing to realize that life truly goes on without my help or say. The want to control that which I cannot control is a reminder from those few hours of sleep. Yet, You Almighty God do not sleep. And the reason You do not sleep is not due to restlessness. You are Rest and You are Resting Place. Lord, this wonderful reminder causes me to remember that when I am restless, I can and must rest in You. When I am anxious, You are the 'God of do not be anxious'; In everything with prayer and supplication (earnestly begging), along with thanksgiving, and not complaini

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands!" ~ Isaiah 55:12 NLT ~ Lord, You are my Refuge and Strength! You are Salvation! You are Power! You are Love! Lord, with or without us You Remain Awesome, Powerful, Loving, Merciful. You are Resting Place. You are Restoration! You Are Relief when relief doesn't seem near. You are who You say You are! God, I want to run after You. The way I run after the earthly desires, I want to run after You beyond my wildest imagination. I want my running after You to be as the rushing wind that dries up the rain and dew that has fallen on the ground. I want my running after You to be as though the wordly things have no hold or concern. Thank You Jesus for Your resurrection Power over death, hell and the grave! March 3, 2010, "Complaining to Praising"

Triumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswell "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up." ~ James 4:10 ~ Lord, thank You for the reminder yet again of the terminology, "Going around the mountain again." What brings me to that journey? Murmuring, complaining, justified murmuring, justified complaining. Wow, Lord! I am learning quite humbly that every idle word is just that, an idle word. The words I speak that are not of You, are just loose words yet carry great destruction. "I justify it, I buy it." (Lisa Bevere) I have felt as though I have a right in the past to complain. Or the right to say how I feel about how someone has mistreated me...yet, would I dare ever complain about how I have mistreated others? Lord, I am gratefully humbled to be corrected by You. I want to progress in my journey with You, not regress without You. You have given me my mouthpiece for a purpose.

March 1, 2010, "Immaturity and Realzing it To Change"

lTriumphant Victorious Reminders Inspired by the Holy Spirit Written By: Teresa Criswel "A virtuous and worthy wife [earnest and strong in character] is a crowning joy to her husband, but she who makes him ashamed is as rottenness in his bones." ~ Proverbs 12:4 Amplified Bible ~ Lord, I am realizing how immature I truly am. The aching to know how much I haven't relied on You and seeing the effects of it is truly humbling. My mind, my soul attempt to condemn me with great contractions of regret. The waves of regret come and go and seem to come at a rythym. Lord, help me to get back to that place, under your merciful conviction so that with Your grace I may abound above the regret, and repent, turning and doing that new thing that is of You. I am seeing where I truly need to grow up, and how I must absolutely, without a doubt depend on You for every growth spurt. I have seen where I have this need to want to be accepted from all realms. This sick desire to want approval;
