Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit

Numbers 23:19-20

O to be reminded of God's great love for and over us.

Are you bewildered, awestruck and shaking your head in awe that "while we were yet sinners, Christ still died for us" (Romans 5:6-11)?

This truth for me is incredibly moving. To ponder this amazing, eternal, extravagent love shakes me to the core of my every aching part of being human.

"Really God? You love us that much? But how?" Here is the answer I received,
"The 'How' reveals the 'Who' which leads to the 'Wow'!"

As I sit here amazed, I am reminded of the prophet Balaam who was bid to come by King Balak, the king of Moab, to prophesy a curse against God's people. It is quite interesting that even through this dishonorable prophet, he spoke forth truth as he knew he would only be able to speak what the Lord would have him say. King Balak attempted to desperately pay and give the prophet whatever he desired for him to speak curses over God's people. Balaam even in his own shame would not receive the riches because he knew the power of God over the mediocre power of man. Balaam knew the power of God that it would be impossible for him to curse what God had blessed. These are the words spoken forth by the prophet,
"God is not a man, that He should lie.
He is not a human, that He should change His mind.
Has He ever spoken and failed to act?
Has He ever promised and not carried it through? I received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it..."

Isn't this amazing? Thousands of years later, we continue to learn from those who existed before us, the powerful reminder of our Living God.

I am reminded today of this truth...The truth still remains...
God cannot stop loving as He is Love.

He cannot stop being faithful, because that is Who He is; He is Faithful.

He cannot stop being Merciful,
for He is Mercy.

He cannot stop Forgiving,
for He is the Almighty Forgiver.
We as mere human beings may possess and even function in these beautiful attributes, but we are not what we possess. We are humbly who we get to be, because of Who possesses us.
We must remember that this promise is to everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as The Lover of their Soul, The Convictor of their hearts, the Savior of their souls and the Lord and Commander of their lives.

I am triumphantly and victoriously reminded that God is and does because He IS and ALWAYS WILL BE!
