May 20, 2023 | No Sound or Words + An Update

"The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display His craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world."

- Excerpt from Psalm 19 -

The LORD's goodness is declared in numerously countless ways. 

As I read the entire 19th Psalm - I am wow'ed.

Wow GOD! 

Describing my awe and wonder of God will seem incredibly minuscule; but let me attempt to do so in this way...God utilized this specific Psalm to minister to my soul as my spirit applauded.

Think on this, part of the Psalm reveals day after day the heavens and skies continue to speak; night after night they make Him known...yet they speak without a sound or word.

Think about this...their pure, majestic display points to Almighty God without a sound or word. 

Really ponder this truth...Just the display alone of the heavens and skies are encouraging and preaching to us to do the same. It's an invitation to surrender our lives to God to be the display of God's glorious majesty. We can do this in and with the Holy Spirit of God. 

It's such a glorious bidding in Him...do you see it? It's being the light in this dark world. The world needs God's love seen through each of us. You don't believe me? Good. You're not called to believe me...but I'll point you to Luke 6:27-36 and you'll see our greatest calling is to follow Jesus. We do as He does and we say as He says. 

We are so equipped in Him. 

So readied in Him. 

That alone is such an honor to get to do this life in Him.

December 15, 2010, "Connecting Bridge"

I was planning on going to this particular store which I enjoy frequenting. However, this day I was convicted to commit even this 'to do' moment to Him. I prayed to the Lord to guide my steps and as I was driving I was led to go to a different store which I do not like to frequent because of the great lack in customer service. But as I looked back upon that irritation, for me to complain about not having a good customer service experience is truly not suffering.
