TRIUMPHANT VICTORIOUS REMINDERS
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written by: Teresa Criswell

"Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you."
~ Isaiah 60:1 ~

We must arise as God's light is upon us revealed in Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit!

The voices of the daughters are being silenced by the thoughts of failure.
The voices of the daughters are being silenced by the thoughts of confusion.
The voices of the daughters are being silenced by the thoughts of self-destruction.
The voices of the daughters are being silenced by the thoughts of inadequacy.
The voices are being paralyzed by looming guilt and shame.
The voices are being silenced by pain of betrayal, the pain of sickness, the pain of death.
The voices are being silenced by the fearing question of, "What if"?

We must arise! Our light has come and the glory of the Lord is upon us!

Why do we choose the thoughts of failure versus the thoughts that God has towards us? His thoughts are of peace and not of evil; to give us a future and a hope.

We must arise out of the ashes of failure, confusion, self-destruction, guilt and shame, the pain of betrayal, the pain of sickness, death and the fears of the unknown. We need to put on what is ours! We must put on worthiness. For Christ is worthy, and through Him and by Him we are made worthy to call Almighty God our Father!

We must arise and take off confusion and put on what God has already beautifully provided and that is a sound mind.

We must arise and put on what God has already provided and that is God's redemption and restoration replacing what we have deemed destroyed and ruined!

We must arise and put on what God has provided and that is His innocence because of Jesus blood shed so mercifully and lovingly at Calvary.

We must arise and put on what God has so lavishly provided which is His powerful healing over our minds, body and spirit. We can have newness in all areas.

We must arise and abide, cling to our God who is Perfect Love and in that clinging He casts out all fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of what has already happened and the fear of the right now. We have already been declared by God victorious through the ashes.

Let us stop hanging onto our 'rights' of 'fear' and let us grab onto the promises of God that give us power, love and a sound mind. It is not by our power or our might, or our knowledge that give us those things. It is by God's mighty, majestic, eternal power and love that allow us to receive those things that are of Him.

We must stop hanging onto our 'rights' of being wronged and let us grab onto the promises that He made right. We are going to be wronged, whether it was intentional or unintentional. We are going to be hurt, and we are even going to hurt others. We need to be reminded of God's mercy that flows so rapidly upon us. He drenches us in His overflowing love and mercy. There is abundance in that love and mercy and in that abundance we need to 'share' it amongst others. There's more than enough to go around. It isn't our love and mercy that we have to give out, it's His.

If this is the case why do we many times hoard what is abundantly supplied? We gotta stop being a people of 'rights' holding onto the wrongs and start becoming a people of boldness in God who reveals truth. Many may not want to hear the truth, many may want to grovel in the pain of yesterday, but we have been so tenderfooted about issues that we have only become facilitators of hurt. We have very seldom seen hurt be let go and let God fill it with His promises of joy through the pain. We will never truly arise as God wills for us until we finally let go of our rights and hold onto His promises! I'd rather have His promises over my rights! His promises are freeing. Things may not change right away and the way I would like them to, but His promises provide a way to get through it.

If we are not careful, our rights will become a crutch of justifying the pain, justifying the sin, justifying the 'rights' to sin...but guess what? In the end, we will wonder why the glory of God was not revealed in our lives. The reason is because we would have rather held onto our 'rights' than our position in Him!

What should be our position in Him? To love Him and seek His righteousness. To resist evil and not make way of evil by guising it under the name of 'God's compassion'. Let us not use God's gifts for our own agendas so that others will 'like' us. We need to utilize God's gifts by His leading of the Holy Spirit inside of us.

We must remind ourselves of Who we serve and why. The enemy is shouting, "Our Time Has Come." But we need to shout back with the voice of Triumph, "God's Time Has Come"!
