Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit

~ Matthew 28:19-20 ~

Yesterday, the following plea came out of my spirit..."Lord, I no longer want to reveal myself to others...I only want to reveal You." As I thought about this seemingly impossible plea that was not my own, I was reminded that my Rescuer does not want me to reveal the rescued one (me); but He longs for me to reveal Him, The Rescuer. The story of my rescue is not my testimony but God's and His alone!

I have heard some say with great intentions, "Teresa, your heart for others is lovely." But I am reminded that it is not my heart for others; it is the heart of our awesome God that is compassionate, longing to touch, embrace, heal, transform, deliver and resurrect!

I am longing to get back to the powerful basics of the mandate that is on each of our lives...to spread the Gospel of our God through Jesus Christ by the power and boldness of the Holy Spirit. The mandate is not to 'fill' the seats of the pew; it is to be a part of growing the Family of God through Salvation, discipling, teaching and training what Jesus taught and baptizing them in the name of the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19-20). The pews can get filled but are the hearts of the people in the pews getting filled with the Hope of Glory? Jesus Christ is the only Hope to have a relationship with our awesome God Who is revealed by the Holy Spirit of God!

The glorious transformation reveals our Rescuer. As we reveal our Rescuer there is a longing for Him that is indescribable. As we indescribably long for Him, we long for what He longs for...and that is to remember that to much is given; much is required.
