Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
By: Teresa Criswell

"Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the ocean depths. You care for people and animals alike, O Lord. How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings. You feed them from the abundance of your own house, letting them drink from your rivers of delight. From you are the fountain of life, the light by which you see: pour out your unfailing love on those who love you; give justice to those with honest hearts."
~ Psalm 36:5-10 ~

What is it about the sun? When the sky is so crisp, the rays of sunlight sharpen the colors of creation. A newness takes effect. It is like seeing in "technicolor", or even "high definiton". Creation seems more defined in shape and color. The symphony of music played by all the different species of birds seem to be heard more clearly.

What is it about the Son of God? When we experience Jesus Christ, the sound of His name is so powerful. Life becomes more crisp as if I were biting into a freshly crisp apple...hearing the luscious sounds come together like a symphony of hunger being satisfied.

I am amazed when the sun defines the colors of creation after a good rain washes the earth and refreshes the new canvas of God's masterpiece. The wind passing through, seeing the effects of the wind. I covet the thought of being a child, allowing the wind to knock me down playfully, with no inhibitions and just allow the breeze of the wind refresh me as I could giggle effortlessly.

As I crave for this, I am reminded of how it illustrates what God does for us through Jesus Christ revealed by the Holy Spirit; the Holy "Breath" of God! He refreshes us, He washes us clean and with the wind He refreshes us. When we see as the heart of a child sees things; we are in utter amazement of God. Anything He does is nothing short of AWESOME! I am lovingly reminded to be in AWE of HIM at this very moment, consider this for a moment.

As we are in awe of Him we will see obedience is better than sacrifice. It will be fun to walk in obedience. It will no longer be this type of "religious ritual" of having to be obedient. However, looking at obedience unto the Father God as a gift to Him that we can lay at His feet, better than any great sacrifice (I Samuel 15:22). Let us consider soberly, what sacrifice could come close to His Ultimate sacrifice; the sacrifice that Jesus Christ gave? There is not one that could come close!

God bless you as you reveal His light through your life of both actions and words!
By the way, Happy Birthday Dad!
