Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written By: Teresa Criswell

"Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O LORD, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things."
~ I Chronicles 29:11 ~

He sits in awe and wonder of God's majesty. He reflects back on his life and sees what a blessed life he has been able to lead and live. He reflects back to the hardships he went through as he sees in hindsight they were opportunities for growth and in that growth it was an opportunity to give glory to His God.

As I sit in great awe of this man's life, I think of the verse that says, "I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord." ~ Psalm 118:17.

I have never met this man personally; however what I know of him is that he has lived a life of leadership motivated by great integrity and character. He is a husband, a father, a grandfather, a friend, and a pillar of his community. The things I have heard about this man reveal a glimpse of the greatness of God. He is a charitable giver beyond belief and it is now his time to receive. His time to receive great encouragement.

He needs great encouragement as he has been ill and it is requiring great faith in God in this time over his body. I thank you in advance to each of you who are praying for this man and his family. I pray God's peace that surpasses all understanding to be upon each of them in this time. I pray a God breakthrough in his body.

This man's name is Jerry McKernan. If you could please email me with your prayer over him and/or a word of encouragement this would be such a blessing to this great man. I would be greatly honored to forward it to him.

Many of us may not know the one's who need to be greatly encouraged; but I know as we are going through great difficulty, it is a blessing to receive those words of encouragement, no matter if we know them or not. We truly must be ready in and out of season to share the encouragement that is from and of the Lord.

Jerry, if you are reading this, please know we love you and are lifting you up in prayer to the Lord God Almighty in whom we have relationship through Jesus Christ. We are here as vessels of honor, set apart and useful for the Master prepared for every good work (II Timothy 2:20-21). When the voices of fear come into your mind; on purpose look at God's beautiful creation, which will provoke you to praise Him for Who He is. You will feel your heart leap as you stir the river of life on the inside of you, as it is stirred in praising Him, the muddied waters become more clear and glisten in His majestic beauty.

You are loved and please know the lives you have touched have blessed God's heart. I cannot imagine what you are going through right now; but please know that in this time your life encourages me and so many others.

In God's great, unfailing love...
Teresa

  1. Dear Jerry,

    I do not personally know you, or exactly what you are going through at this time in your life. But that's okay, I don't need to know every detail, because our Father does! And as your sister in Christ, I am blessed to be able to lift you up in prayer and know that our Father knows exactly what you need and He is able to deliver. We are called to pray for one another and love eachother the way that Jesus does. And He has already paid the price for this sickness and shed His cleansing blood so that you can be healed. So I pray that the doctors who are treating you, are simply vessels that He is working through to deliver your healing. By Jesus' stripes, you WERE healed Jerry, and I praise God that all glory goes to Him when you receive that healing. In the meantime, we will continue to stand in the gap and pray for you during this difficult time. He is faithful, and He will see you through! <>< God bless you, Brother!!

    Hugs from Minnesota,

  2. P.S.>> I wanted to share these scriptures with Jerry, to lift him up, as he has clearly done for so many others. Now it is his time to receive, just as you said Teresa! <><

    1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
    where does my help come from?

    2 My help comes from the LORD,
    the Maker of heaven and earth.

    3 He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;

    4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.

    5 The LORD watches over you—
    the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

    6 the sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.

    7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
    he will watch over your life;

    8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.

    ~Psalm 121:1-8
