Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written By: Teresa Criswell

"Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness."

~ Lamentations 3:22-23 ~

We have entered the New Year...it's truly another 'new' year that we get to be a part of. Yet what about the new day that we can seize at this very moment...right now.

The resolutions whether placed on paper, in our minds or if we've made resolutions at all; I am challenged to have a resolution on 'right now'...this very moment. Taking the opportunity in a 'new day' to live, breathe, love and forgive. More than anything enjoying and basking in the love of God that He desires to lavishly overwhelm us. The purpose? To overwhelm others with Who He is!

I am led to be reminded that many times our milestones can be so far reaching that we place ourselves in this box of 'tradition'. We tend to only celebrate once a year; when the celebration can take place right now. Celebrating our lives here on earth that can make such a great, positive impact for so many others and it glorifies God as we declare the Works of the Lord (Ps. 118:17).

We have a new day...let's celebrate it while we can. This thought challenges me to truly celebrate every 'new' second, minute, hour, day and evening that approaches.

  3. I just LOVE that scripture, and I am SO grateful that His mercies are new every morning, cuz Lord knows...I NEED THEM! We all fall short and if it weren't for his tender mercies, I would be a mess. Praise the Lord for His tenderness and unfailing love! <><

Great post, Teresa... I love the concept of focusing on one day at a time, rather than 'one' resolution for the entire year. Each day is a new beginning and a chance to grow and improve ~ physcially, emotionally, spiritually... each and EVERY day His mercies are new and fresh, ready to help us SUCCEED! Praise the LORD!! <><

Wishing you and yours a BLESSED New Year...I have a feeling that 2010 has some great things in store for you!

    Big Hugs,
    ~Tanya

  4. I've always heard that said about Christmas but it does apply to New Year's too. One day is not more special than the other it's just our perspective of it that makes it that much grander.

I saw your picture in my followers spot tonight and thought I'd say thanks for wandering by and I hope you'll be coming by often!
