October 30, 2009, "Creations Awe of Almighty God"

"In his goodness he chose to make us his own children by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his choice possession."
~ James 1:18 ~

The mountains tremble in awe of God's eternal majesty.
The seas roar and waves crash against the
walls of the sea at His infinite greatness.
Trees that sway to the praises of God, echoed by the wind.
The songs of the birds sing a song of praise,
as they flutter in the freedom of His eternal mercy.

I am in awe of nature's praises to God.
I am reminded that nature is a glimpse of the
incredible, indescribable greatness of Almighty God.

His awesome power and majesty revealed in unimaginable ways;
through unimaginable resources; as He is the True Source.

Nature today has reminded me to be in awe of Almighty God.
I am reminded to not praise the vessels that reveal a glimpse of His uncontainable glory; but to praise the One who created the vessels, for His glory and His honor.
For even creation itself knows that it cannot hide from God.

Today, I am encouraged by God's creation;
as it is fervently and passionately in awe of Who He is.

He's my Daddy,
He is my Strength when I am tired and weak.
He is my Refuge when everything around me has fallen apart.
He is my Restorer; when all I see is ruin.
He is my Righteousness, when unrighteousness tries to condemn me.
He is the Lifter of my head, when circumstances try to get me to kneel and bow.

Glory to You O God; for even the heavens cannot contain Your glory;
why do I try?

Lord, I pray I allow You to be God in my life.

You are God no matter what..but I want You to be revealed in my life.
O Lord, Help me to trust in You and as I trust, help me to obey You.
