Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written By: Teresa Criswell

"But now I am going to Him Who sent Me, yet none of you asks Me, Where are You going? But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your hearts [taken complete possession of them]. However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you]."

~ John 16 (Excerpt from John 16:5-7 ~

Cold day. Blanket. Hot Chocolate. Praise Music.

What do these words describe? Comfort in the midst of uncomfortable situations.

As I thought about this, I also thought of my Amazing Father God. Jesus Christ when He ascended to heaven to be with the Father God, He promised The Great Comforter. The Holy Spirit would come and has come to reveal who Jesus is; who revealed the Father God.

The thought and reawakening of Who lives within me because I said, "Yes" to Jesus, it brings me to my knees in great awe and wonder. A thought that my mind can not shrink down to contain. Only my heart by faith can receive such amazing truth..

This is so amazing...I have the Holy Spirit within me. In the midst of our 'cold' situations and even 'cold' people, I can bring comfort to others, revealing who lives within me.

I can allow the warm embrace of the Father God to cover me. Sipping on His refreshing, overflowing mercy and loving kindness and allow the praises of Who He is come forth out of me. In doing this, watching my atmosphere change; my mind will soon follow as my heart leads, being led by the Holy Spirit. We can't let it stop with us, we must allow ourselves to be vessels. To much is given; much is required.

This truth has been used to manipulate our own agendas, however today I truly think of this. I am reminded of much love was given and lavished upon us and to that; much is required to flow through us and upon others, revealing the Author of Love. For Jesus not only operated in love...but more importantly He is Love.

The Perfect Blood that He shed for each of us..now that's true love...pouring out His love upon those who would even say, "No" to Him. He didn't just die for those who would love Him, He also died for those who would spit on Him as they would reject Him.

Wow! No greater love, than His great love for every one of us. Allow His ever present, unfailing love embrace you today, covering you as it casts out all fear!
