Triumphant Victorious Reminders
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Written By: Teresa Criswell
"And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil."
~ Luke 7:37-38 ~
What would it be like Lord to be sitting at Your feet as she did? The aching humbleness from deep within my spirit, reveal the great joy of being close to You. I imagine my head humbly bowing to You, in that moment, my eyes drawn to the massive holes of the scars from the nails that were so violently pierced through your glorious feet. Your feet, so beautiful which spread the infallible truth of the Peace of God!
Suddenly, the strands of my hair stretch forth desiring to touch your feet as Mary did. As the locks of my hair fall upon Your victorious feet of Triumph over death, hell and the grave; tears of gratefulness roll down my face. My tears stream down my face, falling as off a cliff into a valley of great, glorious power. Your glorious feet receive my tears as I cling to Your feet. Clinging to You, slowly raising my face towards Yours; my body shakes as uncontrollable weeping overwhelms me because of Your powerful love. The locks of my hair, the tears from within and my grateful, rescued heart unite with a praise never heard before; revealing You, Whom I adore!
I proclaim that which You already know: You are amazing! I am awestruck by Your glorious Love. I am awestruck to action: to be lovely to others, as You have given me much mercy and lovingkindness; so I must lavishly reveal that which I have received from You.
I am humbly reminded of Your great love and willingness to obey Your Father God. I have said it before Lord, and I proclaim it again, "From the depths of my soul and spirit, Your beautiful rescuing power digs a well of gratitude that spews out with such force as I am humbled by Your great Love!"

Awestruck...a great way to describe sitting at His feet, Teresa. I, also, cannot imagine such love in His presence...you say it so well! I'm going to check out your new blog now.
